Hey all! I figure I'd show you all my childhood G1 collection! I'm glad I've hung onto them!
Looks like I've got three Sundae Best, one Twice As Fancy and I'm not too sure what line Raspberry Jam is from...

Here are my boys Barnacle and Wigwam with all the foals (whose names I'm not sure of!) The foals don't look quite as good as the girls, but hair can be fixed!

Not the most impressive G1 collection, certainly. But I love 'em!

Raspberry Jam is a Sweetberry Pony (http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Category:Sweetberry_Ponies). They were originally scented.
Your foals are Newborn Baby Shaggy, Mail Order Rice Crispies Baby (she never got an official name, but sometimes is called Baby Stockings), Newborn Baby Squirmy, Newborn Baby Wiggles, Newborn Baby Dangles (all four of the newborns are from the Newborn Ponies set), and Baby Starburst, a Fancy Pants Baby.
Looks like you took great care of all of them. :)

You really did keep them in nice condition. Look at YumYum's beautiful pink hair! Congrats on digging them out. I bet it was nostalgic for you to see them again :D
By the way, it looks as though Shaggy (blue newborn with dark pink hair, teddy bear symbol) has the hairclip to one of the Sundae Best ponies in her hair. I think it's Banana Surprise's clip.

They look great, lovely condition. The childhood collection is always special so I'm always happy when I see someone could hang on to theirs. Especially exciting that Yum Yum still has her pink hair and the big brothers have their hats!

You've got some real winners there in your herd! :biggrin: May I just just suggest that the little purple sundae hair clip being worn by Baby Shaggy does in fact belong to your Peppermint Crunch - the Sundae Bests are always more sought after with their barrettes!

What lovely ponies! You even have some of the harder to find accessories as well :D I hope you had fun getting them out, they must hold many happy memories :)

It's not "impressive" but it's still a pretty solid standing. Reasonable enough that it fits in a small bin, but enough that we know you were really into them as a kid.
You wanna know how much of my childhood herd that's still around? 0. The only ones I have that could even be considered "childhood" are the ones I inherited from my cousin in the 90s, while I was already an adult collector.

Oh wow, you have BOY ponies in your childhood herd? I never new they existed until I became a collector in later years. They are so special, and yours are more-so because they have such lovely memories attached to them :D

Your childhood collection is supersweet! I also had Baby Wiggles, she is one of my favorite Newborns. A green,baby unicorn- nothing really tops that ;)
