Huh... Is this a G4 MLP chicken?

No idea what it is but it's definitely not MLP...

Actually, it is MLP but not G4.  It's from the G3 Ponyville advent calendar.  I've been trying to identify a similar one I have that is white but with plain black eyes instead of blue.

     Lol. Can we make this chicken the new arena mascot? It has seen the extent of our pony madness. Why else would it be...staring at everybody like this?
     I have no clue what it’s from. I’m hoping Breyer600 is right. It does seem logical that it would be from some advent calendar type thing, as it looks quite tiny. Doesn’t look like anything from g4 though.

I got him too, from the Advent calendar. Isn't he freaky? Seems like a reusing of a mold not meant for him at all.

Those eyes! Were Hasbro trying literal scare tactics to drive their sales?! That said, in the early(ish) days of G4, I distinctly remember Twilight Sparkle came with a critter that was a butterfly, but for some reason it had a disproportionately large human infant's head on it, with massive antennae - no idea what they were trying to achieve there.
That chicken has just made my day, thanks for sharing!
