My parents gave away all my old ponies but I bought a Baby Quackers recently...she's the only one I really remember clearly.

I have baby Up Up and Away and all six pearly babies, though they're all in rough shape, so I don't know how valuable they really are ^^;

She's not super-rare or valuable, but I also have TAF Buttons from my childhood collection. Her hair is really frizzy, but she's in good shape otherwise.

Actually TAF Buttons is going for $40-50 these days, when I got mine.

I had lots of the UK fanclub ponies- I think the person who handed them down to me must have sent off for them all! I remember getting the fibre optic princess Sparkle for my birthday too but I only have like 4 of my childhood herd that weren't given away... :C

I'd love to have my original Bridesmaid and Sugarcake, even getting replacements isn't quite the same ;_;

They may not be valuable in the terms this thread is referring to but my childhood ponies are all very valuable to me.

I grew up in argentina and borned in 1985, so you can imagine!
One of my first toys were 4 little ponies that my father bought me when I was 4: yellow peachy with orange hair, dark blue baby sparkler, shy pose wind whistler and baby sunnybunch.
During the years my grandmother also made me a little pony collection, she gave me sugarberries, felicidades, baby moondancer, confetti and baby gusty as gift. Last 3 to come were shy pose tuneful, lickety split and baby snippy . I didn't have any idea that argie ponies were so valuable until I decided to collect my little ponies a few years ago so I lost some of my  childhood originals (I only kept sugarberries, gusty, moondancer, confetti and snippy) but then I could recover them thanks to ebay and the arena  :)
I almost sell sugarberries years ago, a lady offered me $100 for her and I said, no way! It's a grandma's gift! now that I think about it, thank god I said no! lol

I have mimic, crumpet, munchy, pearly baby blossom, sea mist, goldilocks from my childhood ponies.  I always wanted more of the mail order ponies when I was little but my mom didn't wanna buy them.

I never had the super rare ones as a kid but dad did buy me the big birthday set (with TE Party Time and the others) and the big sleepover set (with Party Time and all that) and I kept all the accessories and all for a long time, those were my favorites of my childhood herd.

Not really.  I had a few MO's that I still have, but I did have NSS Northstar as a child (and still have her).  I never realized she was a foreign pony until I found the online community in 2000.  I don't quite remember when I received her, but she must have been a gift from my aunt who lived in the UK when I was a child.  (She's now passed on, so I can't ask her about it).  Too bad I didn't have the mindset of asking her to find more foreign ponies when I was a kid, lol.

I had Tux n' Tails and Sweet Scoops as a kid ... the dog ate her charm.  DX

Also, when my dad worked in the UK, he once brought me home Lightning and Tornado.  I would give almost anything to find them or my other childhood ponies - I took great care of them.  :(

I still have my chidhood Mimic.  She survivied my childhood best of all my childhood ponies, since I never liked her as a kid.

This is my childhood Mimic, after a trip to LadyArchers Spa:

Wow! A lot of you grew up having such awesome expensive ponies!
The only ones I got who are a little harder to get were Baby Diamond who I got from a very good friend when we were kids and Dutch Baby Cat who I bought as a little girl, and Dutch Diary who my sister bought when she was little
