Help needed for classroom makeover!

Well, I don't usually do this kind of thing..ever but... a friend of mine teaches in the world's saddest classroom.  It's in a leaky basement, with peeling paint, little sunlight, and little decor.  It's a pretty uninspiring sight for the kids.

She's entered into a contest, and the winner wins a $5000 classroom makeover.  She's one of the 10 finalists, but now she needs some votes.  If you have facebook, pleaes take a look at her class, and

Why wouldn't you be able to post the link? Is it to a competing pony site or a site that goes above the PG13 rating? If not, I see no reason you aren't allowed to post it.

I've suffered in classrooms like that, it's nasty for the kids, the pictures often don't stick to the wall cos of peeling paint and damp, and it just feels grotty! Hope she manages to get it revamped!

I hope the district allows it. I know our teachers can't get their room painted unless the district decides, even if the teacher were to buy the paint.
