I stopped by the playmobil booth at toyfair this year and they gave me this neat princess toy; I was taking photos for a website but I don't know much about playmobils and i want to write down in like my personal toy inventory who she is. I did some googling tho and I couldnt find like a comprehensive guide or anything. Anybody got advice? Picture of her included visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I was watching some G3 specials on netflix and I noticed something I hadn't before; a character twinkle twirl called Desert Rose had.... pink hair. not white. And I kinda went, uh, wait. so this is my desert rose: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginand this is the desert rose on strawberryreef.... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd I'm like, I know pink/red hair is prone to fading. I'm familiar with repinking. But I've never encountered a g3 that had faded pink hair this starkly? She's still got glitter on her symbol, but somewhat less than what pictures on google lead me to believe is normal. bleach maybe??? left out in the sun too long???? she's from 2004, this strikes me as very very stark fading; I would assume it would take more than 12 years to get this white?? Is this a typical desert rose problem? Do they usually fade this badly, or is it just some, and I might be able to find a suitable replacement, or should I just repink her? Thanks!

I'm taking the ol' bandages off a bunch of horses today and I had the foresight to take some before and after photos. :3c i'm really excited to share! When I was a child I was not allowed to have my little ponies and as an adult my favourite pastime is to collect old, ratty, bait-level or trash-level ponies from flea market bins and yard sale boxes, loved quite heavily at a time I might have loved them and to restore them to the most beautiful condition I can. I'm sure I'm not the only one who knows the feeling. <3 Anyway I wanted to share!! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginGlory visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis one was special. My boyfriend's parents basement is a huge mess and I was helping him clean it out and put stuff out on the lawn for a yard sale, and we found this in a milk crate. He says it was probably one of his sister's, but they moved out 15 years ago and he let me have it. I'm VERY proud of the work I did on her. Hey, earlier I was asking about how people find pony meetups and since I can't actually find a proper northeast pony meetup, I figured I'd make an interest post. I'm in central new jersey, sorta near Princeton. Anyboy in nj, pa, southern ny state, general area interested in a meetup? (Sideways, if I'm a big dummy and there's already a meetup for this area, let me know? Thanks!)

My friends are always impressed by my pony collection, but none of my real life friends collect ponies- I've always seen pictures of people's swap meets and get togethers and those look like so much fun!!!! But I never know when or where they're happening? How do you find out about them? Word of mouth? Is there a forum somewhere I don't know about where people advertise, or-? I'm sorry, I know this is probably a really silly question, but I would really like to go to one someday. Thank you!

Hi! I'm nate. :3c I'm at a convention this weekend and a seller had a box of "old gen mlp" for sale at 3 dollars apiece. I found some g3s I wanted, and twelve g2s! (I also picked up a g1 baby fakie heheh) I don't know anything about g2s though, I've never had any before! And now I have twelve lol. Anyway I've done my best to ID them but I want someone to doublecheck my work, and also, a price check would be really helpful! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginPretty sure this is seabreeze? Isn't seabreeze mail order? The rest appear to be what I think are relatively common US ponies so I'm uncertain the likelihood this is actually the mail order pony visitors can't see pics , please register or loginTipsy Tulip, right? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMorning Glory? So I live in a wee little apartment and don't really get the ads. I've been looking them up online, but... I must be doing something wrong. >_> I know there's a unique twilight plush at walmart for just black friday but, that's about it, outside of toys r us big sale last week. Oh! And hot topic's ten dollar t shirt sale has lots of really cute pony shirts. But that's definately all I know. Anybody know what sales are going on?

As far as I can tell most people consider Toywiz a really reputable pony dealer? They get featured on EQD a lot. But I ordered some pony stuff from them back in february while I was still in China and set my parent's as the shipping address. When I got back to america in August and got all my packages from the year it wasn't there. Turns out they never shipped it. I emailed them a bunch of times but they never got back to me. The charged me when I made the order, too. Finally I cancelled the order and it took over a week to get a refund and they STILL never returned any of my emails.
Has anyone else ever had problems getting ponies from toywiz or toywiz's communication? (also sorry if this is the wrong forum wasn't sure if this was corral or off-topic stuff. Feel free to move it.)

I have been in the country for two months and I've been living with my folks while I search for a new apartment. It's been a rough couple of months but today is my birthday! So I woke up, took a shower and came home. The gate was locked but on top of it, there's a pony! :0 I open the gate, and there on the ground, another pony! A whole trail of ponies leading to the door. I opent he door. My arms are overflowing with plastic horses. On the ground? MORE PONIES. They trail out of the room, up the stairs and into my parent's kitchen. I was starting to put all the ponies down on the counter when my father told me to look up. I did, and suddenly, I noticed... THIS.visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAHHHHHH This is my twentieth birthday plz and thank you best birthday surprise EVER I am freaking out so much right now They really need a lot of good hair washings but AHHH their cutie marks are so clean and there are so many cool fakies and so many PRETTY g3s and even a couple of g4s!!! Best best best!!!! (there's also a whole BOX of accessories that came with them)

Hi! My very first two customs ever. I'm still working on them though. They're not finished and I wanted to ask some questions while I'm waiting for my hair to come in. 1. G4 Wigwam! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginEugh. The cutie mark looks really bad in the picture but much prettier in person. Head isn't attached yet, no neck plug. So yeah questions: I've read all the reviews on sealants. I've never had modge podge get tacky on me, but I'm told it does. Does it? For the hair, I want that great front floop that you get on G1s where it falls forward, should I poke an extra hole in the front of the rows of hair for rehairing? What should I make his bandana out of? Should I paint his hooves a different colour or leave them as is? For a first custom, what do you think?? :33 I bulked up the hind legs and snout and did the footies. ALSO I made him a little hat. visitors can't see pics , please register or login2. Sleipner pony! Made from a brushable Celestia bait. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginGOSH hacking off those wings was the worst thing ever, I must have hacked away at the neck plug fr an hour before I realized exactly why it wasn't going to work. Pony. Anyway if you do not know what Sleipner is, Sleipner is the 8 legged horse Odin rides in Norse mythology. Fun fact, Sleipner is Loki's son! The paint job isn't finished, still needs more black on the insides of the legs and more grey on top to smooth out the colour a bit. And obviously eyes. I added on four extra legs and bulked up the snout to make it more masculine. (btw, head isjust sort of stuck on with a bit of sculpey since it's not attached yet) I'm having an issue with how to ix the back though. I took the wings out which is apparantly necessary if I want to rehair the tail. I can't do that until the paint is all finished but I can't seal the hole until it's rehaired. Should I just rehair it, clay over the hole and repaint the area very carefully? Also, I ran her head through the oven and her neck plugholes closed up! D: I was not aware that would happen. If I poke through with a needle will it still go through do you think? Also, flank. cutie mark yes or no, and if so, what do you think? Thanks!! ///edit/// Updates! :33 Wigwam is finished! Or at least, as finished as I really can finish him. I made him a little fake neckplug out of tinfoil but... his darn head really is loose and bobbly. Need to find some solution to this. Ah well! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginGOSH he looks so light in this photo next to the real deal. I promise he's much brighter in person. Maybe it's the light reflecting off of the shiny sealant...? IRL they're a fairly close match. Sleipner has his paint finished. (other than his back which has to be done after his tail is finished.) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMore pictures under the cut! Also, a new project I'm working on: Starswirl the bearded! Starswirl is a wizard often referenced in friendship is magic. He's never actually shown but twilight wears his costume once for nightmare night and princess luna remarks on it's accuracy! (being immortal she knew him. ) I am very much a fan of the Discord-Is-Starswirl fan theory and plan to paint him that discordy shade of brown, and also give him bushy eyebrows and a long brushable wizard beard. :33 SO MUCH HAIR! I also hope I can make him a little cloak and hat. Maybe use some actual tiny bells and paint on the little symbols. Anyway here is the bait having been sculpted (one ear got brushed off whoops gotta fix that) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginAs you can see I have buffed up his chest, snout, and his hind legs. Only partial hooffluff. Most of his fluff will be actually fluffy. And pointy eras to show his discordyness. Made from a lyra bait. Not yet baked so he hasn't been sanded yet.

Sooooo today I went out and about after apartment shopping and found some really really cute sparkly fakies!! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginIt's difficult to tell from the photos but they are SOOOAAAAAKED in glitter omigosh. Like, absolutely coated in the stuff. They are so pretty and sparkly haha. The blue one has the BRIGHTEST hair and it's so nice. I picked them up at the dollar store today, so that was a rad pickup today. <3 I also found a g4 colouring book while I was there! :0 I was really surprised because I haven't seen this one on EQD'd random merch or daily roundups and Cadence is my favorite character so this was a huge happy surprise for me! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd then I found this one (technically yesterday) at the local goodwill. It's HUGE by the way, much much bigger than the G4 fashion styles. She's got some mad freaky eyes though ehhe. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginGave her a good brushing... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginand a looooong bath... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd she's cute as can be! Her paint is really really clean, no smearing or anything on what is obviously a children's toy that's been played iwth a lot. She does have '99' written on her hoof though. Ugh. goodwill. I hate that they do that.

Okay, so, years ago, before I collected ponies and just really liked the show I had a very very good friend. We were takling about our favorite ponies and I said Rainbow Dash because he hair was so much fun. Heeeee said his favorite was Wigwam, and I was like what! Who is that? And he showed me a g1 pony and I was super startled because until then I did not know about the big brother ponies! I don't talk to that friend much anymore which makes me sad because he used to be my best friend, but ever since then i've really really wanted a wigwam because it reminds me of him. and then this happened! Eeee, I'm just, so, excited! Sure he doesn't have his hat and I know the hat is more valuable than he is heehe, but I will get it one day! For now I am content to be SUPER DUPER PUMPED FOR WIGWAM ON MY SHELFFF AHHH (I so hope he is in as good a condition as he appears to be. <3)
