I'm really super excited! I really hope that she gets mass released and we all can get her :) And I hope that they will make Apple Fritter since her blind bag has the same eyes, she'd make a gorgeous brushable!

That was where my mind was going too. They made Sweetie Blue as a test early on for Mrs. Cake's colors.

They are just borrowing the pics from the Taobao seller;) Granted for the amount of effort it takes to PS that, they could've taken their own pics...but alot of these chinese sellers seem to borrow photos. I wouldn't worry too much if you bought it from ebay. If stuff doesn't show up, paypal always sides with the buyer;)

The seller on taobao has already sold 100 and still has over 80 available plus all these others on ebay...I have a good feeling she's going to be an actual release:D

Yeah I have a good feeling this one is real:) I just wonder what else is going to be released, it's about time we got new brushables! It may devalue the pony but who knows how long it will be before they're released.

I found pictures of me in my wedding dress on a Chinese knock off dress site once. I asked them to take them down and they did, but yes, they sure do borrow.

Buying from taobao/ Chinese sellers is a gamble. The pony can easily be one that will be mass produced and could just as well be a factory reject. I know i ended up with a flawed Ploomette that way.

I have purchased from both the ebay sellers which have her in the past and had no issues but I do agree that particular has seen the inside of PS! :P

I bought Ploomette I believe from a chinese seller and it's a proto. I bought it before they even released her and didn't realize they were.. I haven't seen the new Ploomette's but I think she might be flawed like yours.

Oh wow, good point, Galactica!

There are TONS of red-haired Sunset Shimmers being unloaded on Taobao & eBay, so there CAN be large quantities of ponies made and still not be officially released. (the released version has orange instead of red). Granted that variants are slightly different situation than totally unreleased ponies...

Indeed, they can start releasing baby ponies also then. :) Also I got my Mrs. Cake on ebey for $17 including shipping. Not so expensive IMO.

We cannot know 100% for sure - anything released without packaging runs the risk of not actually being an intended product.

The only reason I am personally siding on the basis of yes she will get a release is the sheer number of her which have shown up - there have been group orders for her, people have purchased individually, there are past and still running ebay auctions and and on top of that she is still available to purchase on Taobao. That is a lot of ponies if she is a test that isnt going to happen; its is perhaps more likely these are factory rejects sold by the factories to sellers.

Also nioticed she is the only pony in my G4 herd with moulding lines on her head. The bodies all have the little faint lines, but this is the first time I've seen that on a pony's head.

It's not what we're getting on current G4s, like a strip that's taped around, it was proper molded plastic, a bit like the bubble on a card I guess, but it fit her leg perfectly. Why bother putting that on a factory reject? ;)

Here's a picture I took when I took her out of the packaging with the plastic around her leg. I still haven't taken it off. :lol: It's hard to see because it's a bad picture and the plastic blends in, but I can take a better picture if need be. :)

I ordered "The Cake Shop" on sale online from Toys r Us but over here it's called "Calico Critters Bakery". It looks exactly the same except for the words on the sign. I'm not going to use it with Mrs. Cake, though... it will be a surprise which "Shop" it's going to be in Equestria. :cool:

In the meantime I've bought a "Li'l Woodzeez Tickle-Your-Taste-Buds Bakery" from my local Target to use with Mrs. Cake and the "Princess Celebration Bakery. There's a lot more room and I'm in love with all the little food accessories! Once I get it all set up I'll post pic's. :)

Post by: MilkyTaroMochi on September 22, 2013, 11:18:20 PM: One of the Targets in my area (one I don't normally go to) has the Mrs. Cake set in today(along with the Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie(? - cant rememebr off hand) set). Since the Target closest to my house didn't have them yesterday or beforehand, I am guessing they had just put them out today.
