A mother pony can be protective of her young just like dogs.

I got an invitation to a job interview for tomorrow! It's a bit short notice, but considering that I missed the initial e-mail because it went to my junk folder, it was very good of the folks at the office to be so understanding and accomodating when I called them to explain the situation. :frolic:

I put a fakie up on the cat perch that I'm going to defrizz shortly and my nasty cat decided to not knock her over! They're bonding.

Fabric quilting store re-opened and I managed to get that extra needed fabric for my stalled quilt project  :)

Then visited Laura Ashley store, who are closing down  :( but managed to score lots of rolls of pretty wallpaper - reduced to just 4 pounds from a whopping 40   great for paper crafting, lining drawers and decorating feature walls in the future  ;)

Good luck with the job interview, Miniature Sheep!

(Wow, that's an awesome sentence to say. Must say it in public some time and see how much more people distance from me...)

Cats are awesome.

Hubby came home with a surprise for me, brought me a thumb track mouse after I had been complaining about my old two button (not even a scroll wheel!) current one....thought I was going to hate it but it's surprised me!  ^.^

I ordered some fast food, and when I went to pay, they said the person ahead of me paid for mine, so I paid for the people behind me. :) its funny cause as i was driving up, I was thinking about buying the peoples food behind me anyway, and then the employee said "put your money away, the person ahead paid for it" lol so that was a nice feeling.

My friend has learnt about Australian foods like fairy bread and lamingtons. She is in the process of loosing her mind at the concept of white bread with butter and sprinkles on it. I never thought it was weird but it’s funny to watch her try to comprehend some of this.
This. Sentence. Is. False! Dontthinkaboutitdontthinkaboutit.

Well I grew up wi bread, butter & sugar as a simple sweet treat, so for me it's just adding a little food dye to the sugar... I think I'd prefer the chocolate sprinkles or vermicelli though...

Fun fact: UK calls sugar sprinkles "hundreds & thousands" & when you heap them on the bread you can see why...

A bookseller went the extra mile for me today to help me get the book I was looking for.

Also, I have a new Blu Ray/DVD player.

Wait, what?! ...I'm not sure if that sounds good or not. Do you guys have cheese bread? Cheese baked right into the dough. Yum.

Anyway, I was able to catch my window sill spider and let her go on the big tree in the backyard.
