ooh! Its tush tag does say 2000 beanie buddy!
Is there any worth in this guy? I'm not much of a collector, I just felt bad seeing him in goodwill. I imagine the lose of his tag will lower his value

I know I've seen some huge G1 plushies from this community in the past, so hopefully those people speak up and share their pictures. xD
I seem to remember someone also doing a life sized "soft sleepy newborn" pony (i think thats what they were called at least) but it was not a plushy.

I wouldn't be heartbroken if someone sold a custom i made for them. I understand all too well how collections can change over the years, or just becoming less interested in a certain collection, or if some emergency comes up and money is tight etc.
Imo it is your property, and you paid for it, it and it sounds like you enjoyed them for many years.
I think an unofficial rule of thumb, if you're selling a custom you bought and paid for, don't sell it for more than you paid. As an artist, I would be kinda salty if I knew someone else was making a bigger profit off my work. x.x

I've considered buying a few as custom bait fodder but... I don't especially enjoy customizing G4 lol

So oddly enough this story will not be about one of my cats. However I doubt it would be hard to remember a goofy story as Pixel does something silly almost daily.
BUT This story is about my hermit crabs. I have three known as Atlas, Hercules, and Orion. I guess I love the idea of tiny lil critters having big sounding names. Iv had them for about 2-3 years now and each of them do indeed have their own personality's and hobbies. I keep them in a big 50gal tank full of places for them to explore. Atlas loves to travel and climb, Ill often find him inexplicably latched onto some area of the tank that I had no idea was even accessible to him. Orion is kinda the literal hermit crab, he stays in the dark areas and just kinda minds his own business. Hercules has attachment issues and refuses to move out of his much too tiny shell! Which brings us to todays story!
Today I decided to move the tank, all three were out in the open and accounted for so I knew it was safe, Its really not safe to change substrate or anything if one might be molting as it can kill them. I really needed to relocate the tank to a better area, because I was having a lot of trouble maintaining humidity where it was, but moving it means unloading 150lbs of sand and sub xD so its a bit of a process! I put all three crabs in a bin and just put the whole collection of spare shells in with them, then went to work. Fast forward 2 hours, and I've got their new place all set up and fresh for them. I start to put them in and WHO do you think decided to start exploring new shells?
Yep Hercules decided that this exact moment was going to be the time to start trying on shells.. So now they have a fresh new pad but they have to just hang out in a bin for a while so as not to disturb him while he "hopefully" actually moves in and stays in a shell thats bigger than the one he leaves. rofl Hercules is sorta known for his shell attachment.. When I bought him he was in a painted shell and I desperately wanted it OUT of the tank and away from the other crabs but he hung onto it for a year.
Have your pets done anything thats goofy lately? I thought this might be a fun thread to read. I love animals doing weird or silly things!

ours is at 60% last i was there, The shelves are already looking pretty bare and they're already selling furniture and what not. I have found a few odds and ends, even some collectible action figures for myself and friends for great prices.

Bindi is for sure listed on the website, with many others. I heard that Fridas family were pretty unhappy with her doll, I can kinda see why. I would LOVE both of them and Earhart though x.x Earhart especially was my childhood hero

Ahh sweetie pups! I helped a friend clean theirs recently, which was to just scrub and wash hair with warm gentle soap/conditioner. however his were all straight haired dogs and I feel like my method would turn the curls wavy x.x

http://www.identifyyourbreyer.com/identify/ponies.htm
Here is a link to the identify your breyers website. Specifically for the dapples/pony line.
Looks a bit like Robin, but the color on his legs is off.
It could be!? I'm kinda thinking it might actually be that same horse? Mine is a bit more yellow, but that could just be due to fading possibly? I know literally nothing about Breyer and how they age. He is also riddled with paint rubs especially on his legs and back, so I think that might be why the markings don't exactly match up.

Looks like model number 7035 to me. from the “ponies and dapples” set.
Thank you! I guess I should have asked "are they terribly htf?" I was planning on doing some slight modifications to him, as a gift for my friend, but I don't want to customize something that is rare.

Sorry about the bad pics, I just took a few quick ones to show a friend, (it looks just like his horse!) And as I was cleaning it I noticed a Breyer stamp. Hes kinda a almost pearly finish to him? I don't really know much about Breyer aside from admiring them as a child but never having enough money to collect them lol. I found this one at Goodwill, and honestly only picked it up because it looked just like my friends real horse, didn't noticed the breyer mark until later. (he didnt come with the halter, i was just seeing if it fit xD) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login
