Fakies at TRU...
« on: January 25, 2017, 03:43:52 AM »
I was at TRU in North London the other day, and saw these when I was leaving the shop. They look like funny neon alien ponies to me. Anyone else seen them?

Hopefully photobucket works, it's been a pain this morning and I can't upload to my server from this PC...

I've seen those before! They're hilarious, especially the wonky eyes. Plus their plastic looks really odd - as if they're made of two parts that fit together, if that makes sense? I love them XD

I got four of these on eBay once! You can see them in the seventh photo down, the Pinkie Pie collection. I think those were from a dollar store, though, I wouldn't have expected to see them at TRU.

They are. It makes them really easy to rehair if you're into that, since you can snap them apart no problem.

I admit, I didn't check if there were a range of colours. I just saw them and went...odd...;)

No idea what a pocket elf is. An elf you keep in your pocket I imagine?

They were in the cheap pocket money toy section of TRU in London. It's the only TRU I have access to so I don't know if it's a general TRU thing or just this branch stocking them. I agree they look more like they belong in the £ store...

WOW these are scary after watching that video, lol.  Looks like they were copied off of the crystal kingdom ones by the shape of the "eye shine"

I've seen these exact fakies  at my local petrol garage...the sort of place you'd normally find them haha! I'm wondering if they are cheaper at TRU as our garage is quite expensive, that would make me laugh!

After seeing that video I am very disturbed   Why did they split them down the middle like that? Suck a terrible idea! I love the colors. I wish hasbro would make a bright green pony!
