How do I get a "pony persona"?

I would love to make a pony persona, but how? Could someone please point me in the right direction?

typically for the cutie mark/symbol/ whatever you want to call it, people will choose something that interests them, or something they collect, or simply a design that tickles their fancy. basically just add things that scream 'YOU' or if youre making a seperate character that isnt you, or a pony based off of an existing character from a book or movie or a show... theres no wrong way to make a ponysona =] just have fun
