Hmm, I still have questions though.  Basically, I'm trying to find out how she's "supposed" to look straight out of the package.

Is her tail in banana curls similar to Candy Cane/Rainbow Curl ponies?  How many banana curls?  Is the tinsel curled with the rest of the hair, or is it separate?

Her curls are similar to Goldilock's style. Unfortunately I dont know how many there are in total - it may even vary from release to release as she was offered a couple of different times as mail order. The tinsel is not curled in her mane or in her tail.

A pony is "worth" what someone is willing to pay for it As collectors we all have different values on what is important to us and what we would most like in our collection no matter the cost - be that a Punzie or a G4 plush or just a minty Majesty!

One thing I know is that her braid always has some pink & some yellow hair braided together. That's a good way to spot an original versus a "re-braided" Rapunzel... many people assume the braid was only the pink section when re-braiding it.

Straight out of the bag, her hair is a total mess! I sold one that had been removed from the bag & never brushed. You could tell by the way the hair felt that it was "mint" & untouched, but to photograph, it always looked messy to me. Her tail has 4 curls, but they aren't tight ringlets like a Candy Cane pony. Her mane is not in separated curls, just all one long wavy curl like Heart Throb or Cherries Jubilee.

True, I wouldn't spend $200+ on a filthy, dirty, beat up Nirvana just cause it's a one off or super rare, but I'd spend all I have for a handmade G4 plush out of minky and very well done, yet for some people, it could be opposite.

I'd also spend more on a G4 than any other gen of pony, but everyone puts different values on things.

This is what I would have guessed from the MIP photo. Cramming that much hair into that little bag can't have been easy!

And she has tinsel in her braided section of mane as well - I think thats a handy catch as well because often you see it braided with none of the tinsel through it.
