Title: This Sunfaded Dewdrop Dazzle
Post by: Esbayne on March 21, 2018, 11:48:26 PM
So I've gotten super into thrifting ponies and fixing them up like new again- a bag of roughly 3-4 ponies goes for $1-2 at my local thrift stores so I make away with amazing pony deals very often, I LOVE IT. :lovey:
Today was one of those days! Among my pony haul today I got a very strange Dewdrop Dazzle. I know a bit about G4, but not nearly as much as the 3 predecessor gens, so I saw her and knew something was different but couldn't pinpoint what. Got her home and compared her to my other thrifted Dewdrop Dazzle, and she's just super sunfaded! She must have been left outside for quite a while.
Honestly though... I think she's lovely. I almost like her better than my regular Dewdrop Dazzle! >.> I think I may give her her own name and let her stay. I don't usually keep duplicates but she'll be exception #2. I think they'll be sisters.
Her expression almost looks different on the faded one. Is that also because of the fading or is it just how she's printed up?
She looks super cool! Awesome find! The different expressions could be because one might be from midnight in canterlot, and the other the original single release. They changed the unicorn head mould around 2013 ish. The new mould has a rounder head, whereas the original has a more pointed, slim head. ^.^ Mlp Sunsparkle x

Oh........they still do the fading pink then  i was wondering about that. il have to be careful with my g4's now. i was hoping they would fit the problem or save the next generation from the fading pink fate -_-
i had a very faded cheerilee once like someone left her in the sun, she was pale pink on one side.
