All I know is that Tempest Shadow is a Unicorn with a broken horn and I'm questioning the Spike figure... WHY is he a pufferfish? Are the Main 6 going to be turned into Seaponies much like how MH's main cast turned into mermaid-like monsters?

Yes, they will become seaponies. An image was found of the next line of squishy fashems and they depict the mane 6 with fins. There was also leaked concept art of this months ago :)

These look interesting! While I'm not a huge fan of all the bipedal characters and wish the sea ponies didn't have legs, Hasbro is clearly putting a lot of love into these toys, which is more than I expected from the last few toy fairs. Also, the merponies are adorable, legs or not :inlove:
Though, Tempest is a bit too edgy and Songbird is a bit too based on a person I don't know at all... I sure hope we get some more interesting ponies soon.

I'm disappointed that there aren't more new seapony characters. I won't lie, it's the first time I've been tempted to rebuy the mane 6 in a while. But I won't do it. I will not buy them again!

I can't go through with it if they don't fit in with the original G4 designs.... and if they're really covered in all those RIDICULOUS decals.As far as we know, they are only covered on one side, the other side has their symbol. So if Hasbro hasn't found away to keep us from using acetone on these ponies, then they should be able to become normal

The merponies are a cool concept and it's cool they brought them back but... I'm not fond of the execution. :/ I don't like articulation on ponies and they hardly look like ponies to me, like, at all... I also am really not fond of ponies that aren't brushables either.
Might have to see this movie though even though I'm reallyreally done with G4 and kinda have written off. That catboy really lures me in.

I quite like the "sea" ponies but I don't like ponies with moulded hair. I'm not sure whether I will go looking for any of these toys. I put sea in inverted commas because they're not sea ponies at all, they're merponies. They have front legs. And I actually prefer the old school sea ponies who have fins and not legs.

It's not Hasbro, it's your local stores. The best thing to do if your store isn't getting what you want, is to contact them and ask that they carry it... (the stores often order what they think will sell- Hasbro has no control over that)

Do you think stores would order old waves or do you think they would order the newest? I have a feeling the latter, since stores clearance out toys SO quickly- there is such a focus on new new new- I have a feeling slowing down production is not the answer either. But who knows? I'm not a marketing analyst after all.
