U.K. Comic and Book Characters You Wish Were in the G1 Show

If you know the U.K. comics and books, you know they have a bunch of fun characters.  What characters wish had shown up in the cartoon?

Personally, I would have wanted to see the Wizard Wantall.  He was a much better comedic villain than the Witches of the Volcano of Gloom.  The Weather Witch is an ally I would have liked to see animated too.

Definitely her.  More ponies (especially their queen) would be a given.  I was thinking more of the non-pony characters.

Majesty was a touch sadistic though, with the things she did to her little ponies as 'lessons'.

In terms of other characters...Miranda and Kelpie were cute. Miranda was a mermaid and Kelpie a sea something or other. I remember her playing with Baby Lucky, whereas Miranda often played with the baby sea ponies. I think an episode surrounding the baby sea ponies would have been neat. There were a lot of them and they never got that chance, really. Just bit appearances here and there.

Junk-It is a great call, also. The Weather Witch I always liked too. And the Wizard (not wantall) that lives in Thundercloud's favourite Misty Mountain (I think the Mountain Boys all live there). He was pretty wise.

I quite like the Question Mark, too. He's quite funny. Albeit after a while he might be annoying.

The original series was far too short (especially hurt by the fact it only had half episodes).

Yes.  The Wizard of Misty Mountain.  There was also the Wonderful Wizard, the one who pointed Spike to find Majesty and give her Dream Castle.  And the evil wizard who stole Glory's horn in that one read-along book.  Lots of wizards of all allegiances.

And Majesty was tame towards the ponies compared to her enemies.  Her bodycount and methods would make G1 Unicron cringe.

Not sure if the characters are the same, but I'm reading the Dutch comics right now. I think Majesty would be cool! There are also a bunch of interesting kabouters... too many to pick just one.  :biggrin:
