Two versions of Shadowbolt RD?

Hi everyone^_^

I have received this week an unpainted/unfinished Shadowbolt RD and i have noticed that her hair are way shorter than the other version i bought some time ago on TaoBao.
Her hair were styled too with a lot of glue/hairspray ^_^'

Then i have noticed that in the promo pictures of her she has very short mane there too, so i am wondering in wich version she will be released ^_^'

Is the one from Taobao the unfinished version (no hair cut) and she will be released as the unfinished one or what?

I have a feeling, that even with shorter hair, show accurate picky people will still trim it anyway.

But that's just a hunch.

I don't think I will cut and style mine though.  I did style a regular RD but, they are so easy to come across it didn't really matter!

I would guess she will come with the shorter do - after all Taobao tends to be rejects or pre mass manufacture so the fact she is unfinished makes sense.

The prototype one has been given the "lightly gelled" Monster High treatment!

I like the long haired one a bit better! The short hair looks a little like a toupee from some angles. Her styled mane is really neat, though!

Hmm not sure, I love my longer haired ponies so my predictions are moot xD

BTW, I have to ask this... Looking at the prototype with the unpainted face... Does the rejects/officals all have a grey head and the blue color painted on both head and wings.. or is it reverse?

I think the shorter hair one will be the actual release given that Taobao often offers ponies that didn't pass quality control or test runs. I hope the shorter hair one is the actual release because taming that vast mane of RDs has been a bug-bear of mine!
