Avatar help? Are they down, or am I doing something wrong?

I tried to change my avatar and now I don't have one. I keep getting a message that the directory is not writeable.  Any help is appreciated.

Edit: I read the topic and figured out how to fix it.

Is my avatar too big?  I can't tell and I have like..NO software to resize the darn thing.
photobucket decided that the ability to resize images was not longer a necessary thing for it's users. :/

Didn't want to restart a whole thread for just one avatar.
