I made this pony for a private generation swap with aintnobuffalo. Those snowflakes were super challenging and I had a great time making this cute girl! I reeeeaaaaally like the more active-looking redesign G4 poses and I was happy to use one for this project :)
Ingredients:
Vallejo model acrylics
Dollyhair
Sulky silver metallic tinsel thread
Vallejo polyurethane matt sealant
Citadel gloss on the eyes and tongue
Tiny glitter!

The gradient was difficult...I don't have an airbrush so I tried dry brushing but I had some issues with patience <.< Its nice that you think they look good :)

She's even more beautiful in person! I love having her in my winter pony collection. The gloss finish on the tongue and eyes takes it to the next level. She's stunning for sure! Thanks again for such a fun swap.

Okay, I don't like the G4 toys, but she is really cute. Great job!

Wow! Stunning! May I ask what size/type paint brushes you used?

I used the "Wargamer:insane detail" brush I told you about in my G1 to G4 TAF thread, plus I also used a "Princeton Select" round petite 5/0 brush - I think I got it at my local Plaza Art shop. I think what I need to get next is some kind of magnifier so I don't strain my eyes :lookround:
