Musicals and broadway theatre! Favourite shows?

OK so lately i'm on a musical binge. Watched the production of CATS last weekend and gonna catch Disney's Beauty & The Beast next. I'm practically prancing around and singing in the school hallways much to the annoyance of my class. 

What are your favourite shows? Or shows you wish to watch?

I've always wanted to catch The Lion King and Wicked (missed both of them when they played here!). And not forgetting Rent and Spring Awakening. My personal all-time favourite is A Chorus Line - has a special place in my heart cos I was part of the cast in my secondary school's  (high school in america) adaptation of the musical. I remember every song and dance choreography till today. Was so happy to have finally watched the production 2 years ago and recall those memories

M going to see Beauty and the Beast on Broadway.... TODAY! In March, going to see Frozen on ice-thats  kind of a musical! I eventually want to see Lion King too!!!

Cats when it was still on Broadway, Phantom of the Opera, I love the music. I would also like to see The Lion King, War Horse when it was in the States.

My faves are The Phantom of the opera,  Miss Saigon, and Les Miz.

Oooooooo Celestia yeah I also love Phantom of the Opera!!! One of my favorites!!!! Ive never actually seen Cats myself!

I love musicals, although we dont have Broadway, we have the West End over here! Not usually into the Rogers and Hammerstein ones, prefer Lloyd Webber and Cole Porter/Irving Berlin type ones.
I have collected West End programmes and brochures for years, for my fave shows, and ones that include my fave stage star. Live several hundred miles from West End so don't get there very often, and have to see tours mainly.
My personal fave musicals I've seen a lot are:
Me and My Girl  (and any 1930s ones that are funny, not cheesy)
Les Mis (Sets and singing talent amazing)
Hot Shoe Shuffle (Love tap dancing!)

Ones I love but haven't seen on stage and wish I had are Sunset Boulevard and Miss Saigon.

Last ones I saw were The Jersey Boys at the West End, and the touring version of 'Buddy' and 'Hairspray'.

The Lion King and The Sound of Music. I also loved Hairspray too!

I'd like to see Aladdin when/if it ever reaches the UK. I just hope they'll release a UK version of the soundtrack, since they never did with Lion King (there's only the US recorded CD on sale).

On stage I've seen Phantom of the Opera (Andrew Lloyd Webber's version) Beauty and the Beast (Disneys), and Dracula.
Dracula I actually saw on Broadway and it was definitely an amazing experience.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius.

Dracula onstage sounds cool! Didn't have a chance to see it though.

My all time favorite musical is The Last 5 Years. <333 I always love Rent, Les Mis, Wicked, and Phantom. Currently obsessed with Newsies.

I *love* musicals!  I've gotten to see Rocky Horror, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, and Cry-Baby, on broadway, Toxic Avenger off-broadway, and locally I've either been in or choreographed for Rocky Horror, Rent, Cabaret, Bat Boy, Smokey Joe's Cafe, and Godspell.  Some of my other favorites are Book of Mormon, Next to Normal, Evil Dead, Wicked, Hairspray, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Newsies, Avenue Q, Jersey Boys, and a buttload more.

I love musicals!  Too many to list, in fact. 

Recently, I saw Motown: the Musical on New Year's Eve and it was amazing!  I'm a sucker for that kind of music, though.  Before that, I saw Spamalot over the summer and it was great.

The first musical I got to see on Broadway was Beauty and the Beast back when I was in high school. We had gone to NYC for a marching band trip and that was definitely a highlight!  My dream is to see The Lion King.

Am I the only one who loved Book of Mormon? 

I still haven't seen it, but I love the music from it!  I'm hoping I'll be able to see it sometime soon.

I love Les Miserables! I'd never been a musical person in the past, but my high school marching band did a show over it many years back when I was in it and my mom bought me the soundtrack and I fell in love. It ironically also helped me fall in love with the oboe and English horn since the musical has such beautiful scores for them!

I only just now saw the musical itself a few months back, though.
