Well, I feel silly. (Dumb mistake!)

LOL, I just wanted to share something silly I did.  Feel free to share your own silly mistakes!

The other day I noticed that the touch screen protector on my 3DS was really scratched up.  I didn't understand why, since I am careful with it.  So, I assumed the protector I got when I bought the 3DS must have been poor quality.  Some internet searching later I decided to order the Hori brand screen protectors.

Well, the protector arrived today.  Yay!   And when removing the old screen protector I realized I had never removed a protective layer.  *Whoops!*   LOL!!  I just left the old screen protector on.  And it looks great.  ha!  I am keeping the Hori protector in case I need one in the future.  But I just felt pretty silly realizing I had left on another layer on top of my actual screen protector the first time.   

Anyone else have a silly story to share?

He he!  Yeah.  Usually I am good about these things.  But this time, not so much.

haha i did the same with with a watch! xD i was so sad that i had got it really scratched up some how! then was picking at it and whole layer came off and realzied the same thing xD then it was good as new!

Put my house keys in my jeans pocket instead of my hoodie pocket. Didn't realize it till I was heading for my front door (after being out all day) and freaked out.

A quick check of pockets fixed my mistake but it was a nerve wracking moment or two.
Of "oh my..."

I did a similar thing with the screen on my DS when it was brand new. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't all nice and clear after only two months. Was worried I'd mucked it up, despite being careful with it. Nope it was the factory screen protector thingy that had been left on. Whoops.
