Sounds like a federal holiday here - like Independence day, Labor day and Memorial Day are here. Usually all gov't offices, banks, schools are closed.

Oh look - The Kentucky Derby is on. SOmething about a horse running in a 5 minute race dosen't really appeal to me.

funny you mention a five minute race I went to the races today. in one of the races there was only two runners. and one of the jockeys fell off when the horse took one look at the fence more or less said "not a chance" and went the other way. the other rider haad to finish the race in order to win so instead of belting it round he just took his time. the horse was having a great time out there on his own. whilst the other ran round the next field. keeping away from the two people trying to catch him. it was super funny. but both of them seemed to have fun and the big fat cob that was sent to catch the race horse never once put his ears back. to be fair I think her was actually fitter than the racer.

That's funny!

Apparently at the Kentucky Derby there was a horse whose mother was a Manitoba Horse! It was on the news, how Manitoba had this connection to the Derby. I don't remember his name, but I heard this morning that he didn't place very well. Oh well!

Since I am the only one who was left waiting for something from their original partner and it finally arrived

, I am going to say we are officially done.

However, we do have 2 "extra" things going on still. The box for yuru and "something else".

No Daiyuflower never shipped out as far as I now but Mia and some others are making her a box.
