Free G1 Line art

Colored my pony-sona and wanted to make adoptables, but don't have the time. Basket was empty when I found the line art. You can cut and paste the flowers if you want flowers in the basket or remove it (really wanted kitties or puppies but couldn't find any good ones that I was capable of adding) Saved the file as a png so hopefully the line art will pull up black and white so you can use Paint for easy coloring, which is all I used.

I love DewDrop Dazzle. I was bored and wanted to see what she would look like if I moved her colors around. I kind of like the yellow but still love the blue the best. I think the pink looks a little dark, maybe should have gone lighter. I don't think I would have been of a fan of it lighter either.

Used General Zoi pony creator on deviantart. so the hair was isn't what I would picture her having but close enough.

So I have decided to challenge myself. I want to turn ponies that I don't like for what ever reason and see if I can alter them so that I like them. But I want to make sure the base pony can still be identified.

I was original going to do it custom wise, but being unable to afford more baits and hair and so forth. I have decided to stick with art work. I am not exactly artistic enough to draw pony after pony; so I will be using already existing coloring pages or generators for ponies outline. Most of them will be done in paint and may be crude and pixelated. This is more for idea storming anyhow, if I get to stuck on a pony I may break down and draw by hand then scan.

Feel free to use any artwork, a small acknowledgement is always appreciated if ideas below are used for anything.

  I don't like her for several reason, not even any of her foreign counter parts. I do like her pose as appose to other G1 pegasus poses. Onward to my design:

Well, while I am a fan of Surprise, your rainbow version looks fabulous! I could very well see her as a custom, and the purple hair and the bright coloured balloons look beautiful against the white body.

This is a great idea, oftentimes I feel it may be just one minor thing that makes you either like or dislike a pony - or sometimes a bigger thing, or several. Nevertheless, tweaking existing ponies' designs is always fun! I'm eager to see what you come up with next.

I think it would be fun to see other ponies. Feel free to post here or your own thread and put a link here, so I can remember to go check.

I actually tried several redesign before settle on this one. One was simple and just had the G1 rainbow hair, one had a light purple body and yellow hair/balloons, and one had yellow body purple hair/balloons. I really wanted to keep 5 balloons but I also want to keep the G1 color rainbow idea, so this was the the winner. I did try it with and orange balloon as well to get 5 balloon but then not having a purple balloon made it seem uneven. I have not tried a full blown rainbow hair and balloon but I though it would be a little much, might look nice.

Ooo, nice! Dewdrop is my favourite G4 pony and I guess I like the original blue the best, but your yellow one certainly makes the competition tough as I happen to love yellow ponies. The pink doesn't look too bad either, of course!

Very cute! Did you modify the original to make the uni and pegasus versions? Or which one of them was the original? A basket full of puppies or kittens would look so adorable!

The original was the unicorn from kidscolouringpages.net. It says rarity in the link name, but the pony is buttons. I used the wings from my earlier surprise recoloring.
