I have been keeping up with this and though I do not want to involve myself personally I am a fixer. After chatting with a friend about it why doesn't the guy send payment for the value of the ponies to a PayPal account since shelvesofwhimsy no longer wants the custom or to disclose her address? I get the feeling that the other person wants to make things right and this gives him the chance to not keep more or less stolen ponies.

I am a fixer to a fault so please understand I am not taking sides. I do believe it was a trade that went wrong for one reason or another but I do not get the sense that the person in question is a scammer. He has had other successful transactions prior to this coming to light. I am not defending him not sending his part or returning shelves' ponies as in the end even with Aspergers you do know right from wrong.

Never mind. Spoke with the other person and this idea had already been offered and the decision was made to accept nothing at all (accept an apology). Apparently both sides have reconciled and are moving forward.

I sent a pony box to a friend in Mexico on Feb 10th. It reached Mexico City on V'day. I just checked the tracking info and it says it is still in transit. That is almost a month ago. What do I need to do? Should I be concerned? I sent it USPS First-Class International.

eBay did the same thing with me!!! They escalated a case because I called them even though I said I was not wanting to do this. I don't think they care about the sellers and are more concerned about their buyer protection policy. It is just easier to treat all cases the same.

I think I am done trying to sell on eBay. It is apparent the company cares more about buyers than sellers. Way too many cases of sellers losing money from bad buyers and now this. Plus I think it is ridiculous that buyers cannot receive negative feedback but a good seller can receive one very easily.

Nothing right about this. Do your auctions state no returns? eBay should not have refunded the buyer before you got the pony back. I would be contacting them about this. You are getting screwed over.

Turned into a bit of a downer thread. I hate that the quality has gotten so bad. People will quit buying which means the line will be eventually pulled. I have also heard that the show has lost its spark.
I get that most people want new characters but it would be neat to have a few made in the G4 style. Could be a limited anniversary set. Is not Applejack one of the few that has not really changed her look and has appeared in at least 3 generations?

I was not aware that the quality was so poor on the G4s. What exactly are the issues?
I was collecting Pinkies but let that go to focus on Lemon Drop. I personally do not care for the G4s. Think they look like little deer and do not have as much personality as G1s and 3s. No offense to those who feel differently. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that ponies are still being made and are relevant in our society. I am with everyone else who mentioned they like the customs. I am actually having a few G4s customized as I type this.

I am bipolar and have OCD and clinical depression. I am also going through a bit of postpartum with feeling withdrawn and antisocial. The biggest hurdle for me was to admit I am bipolar and to accept that I was not healthy and needed help. Sounds like you are there as well. What some people don't understand is that there is no cure for mental disorders and nor is it simple and realistic just to snap out of it. Feel proud that you have not given up and recognize you are not healthy and that what you are feeling is not ok. You deserve better and some days the fight is easy and others it is an accomplishment to get out of bed or to not roll over and give up. Set backs are a part of life with anyone but they do not indicate failure. You may not be where you want not feel the best, but you are not alone and tomorrow can always be better. Just keep trying. That is in your power and control.

I noticed that sea pony prices has increased drastically and stopped buying because of it. Shame and not fair to other buyers and sellers.

So is the pony person both a seller and buyer? I got the impression she was just shopping and retracting bids pretty regularly.
