Popping in with a random question... Does anyone here collect keychains?
I'm looking for a way to display them and I was planning on simply hanging them off pins from a corkboard (NOT piercing them!!) though I was wondering if anyone had other more elegant ideas? The ones that make up most of my collection are rather long so I can't use most of the conventional racks and most of them don't mount onto a wall anyway. I was thinking of decorating the corkboard before I put them on somehow but I don't have any ideas other than coloured paper >_<
I'd also like to see and discuss any collections... mostly I collect anime ones but I do like to pick up random ones from places I go to (as any reasonable person should given the opportunity :P) I'll dig out some pictures of mine to contribute soon though none of them are displayed.

You could try making something like this:

There's a tutorial here: https://battlekimoftherepublic.com/2019/07/02/diy-keychain-display-tutorial/
Then you could measure the racks where you need them and decorate the frame to suit your needs.
Or you could just use curtain rods hung on the wall like this one:

ETA: These are not my keychains, just some I found when I googled keychain displays.

I used to collect them as a teenager. I had a lot. I still have them somewhere... maybe my top drawer. I'll see if I can dig them out.

I used to love keyrings of all sorts of stuff!!! Now I'm more focussed on the plushie ones for mini plushies for my Ponies...

Yes!
I had mine hanging from tiny sticky hooks inside the 'ceiling' of a cube shelf, like arranged by chain lengths so that you could see them (longest at the back, shortest at the front etc). Unfortunately it's all packed away due to moving :p

Not an active collector, but I do have a bunch from various places, as well as pins and other things. Mine are all pinned on a pink piece of cloth, with the keychains mostly hung over pins. I like the wall rod idea, though - that looks very effective.

We actually have/had (they haven't posted in a long time) the person with the world's largest keychain collection. I can see her sig in my mind because she had a keychain of the day link.
