Does anyone have a picture of Sweet 1600 Lala's hairstyle from behind (or know where I can find one?) I've Googled, but don't have the patience for it right now. I had taken her hair down for a good wash and put it back up, but it doesn't seem quite right. She had 3 or 4 rubberbands in her hair, maybe I missed one putting it back up? It looks fangtastic from the front and I'm afraid to mess around with it anymore. It literally took me half an hour to get it right. But it's still bugging me. Help

Do any of you know if Sweet 1600 Clawd is still hitting stores? My Kmart restocked and they had at least 4 Frankies, 4 Lalas, and 3 Clawdeens, but no Clawds  I know some of you have been asking about him too. Have they taken him out of the cases? Also I've noticed his price point is rising on Amazon, while the girl's prices are falling. Please don't tell me I waited too long to pick up the 1600 dolls......

When I built my Grey Wolf CAM, I used the wig that came with set and poked holes for the ears through the clear cap. I cut the clips off and attached them on the inside of the wig. It looks so much better then the hair clip thing they had going on, and are removable in case I ever change my mind about how I want my CAM to look. The BEST part though, is that they are also turn-able! I can turn an ear slightly to the left, and the doll has an all new expression. Adorable!

I'm sorry about the pic size and quality. I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. It took me half an hour to figure out how to post what I did  I'll take any sort of pointers anyone has. I'd like to post more pictures eventually, and I'd like to do it correctly

Oh yeah. It is not a fun process. The arms and head are actually quite easy to change out, but the legs are such a pain. Everytime I'm in the middle of working on one, I swear I'll never try it again, but they are so beautiful! I love them just as much as any other doll in the collection, maybe more because of the extra work involved with them.

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHere is a picture of my CAMs, as promised. The Skeleton was made from a SS Ghoulia. I painted parts of her shoes black so they pop alittle more. The Bee is made from the CAM Grey Wolf pieces. She is wearing Sig. Lala leggings to cover the color differences, and GB Frankie shoes (which I'm in the middle of painting.) The Three Eyed girl was a SS Abbey. The Dragon has the Vampire torso. She's wearing Abbey's hat until I can find her a cheap CAM wig. The Vampire is Killer Style Lala with the head and forearms and hands of the CAM set. Lastly is the Grey Wolf. All I need to complete her is a DT Ghoulia. I'll do the same with her as I did with the Vampire, use the head, forearms, and hands from the CAM set and put them on Ghoulia's body. Please forgive me if posted this incorrectly. I'm still learning how to use this site.

I would like nothing more than to post pictures of my CAM gals, and brag alittle , but I am sooooooo computer stupid. I'll see if my husband would like to teach me how to use our camera, and then do whatever it is I have to do to get those pictures to you folks:) I have no preference when it comes to extra wigs. Whatever you guys have laying around, would be great! And they don't have to be mint either.... I still have the spare parts from Abbey and Ghoulia (except the lower legs. I always damage those pulling 'em out of the sockets). You never know what you may need down the road. Also, I found my SS Lala at Meijer. No one ever seems to mention Meijer when they talk about doll hunting. Maybe they aren't a national company?

I love the CAMs! I've managed to build them all (except the Sea Monster) without buying extra Starter Packs. I used SS Abbey to build the Three eyed monster, Killer Style Lala to build the Vampire, and a SS Ghoulia to build the Skeleton. I used whatever pieces I had left to make the Bee and the Dragon. All I need now is a DT Ghoulia to finish the Grey Wolf, and I haven't quite figured out what to do with the Sea Monster yet. I thought I saw a similarly colored torso in the CAM Lab video, but that could have been wishful dreaming.
I know I'm new here, and it's probably too soon to ask for favors, but is anyone looking to get rid of any extra CAM wigs they don't want? A lot of people complain about them, but I love them! I need at least two, and I'm not picky about which ones. All I ask is for a decent price. These CAM already cost an arm and a leg as it is......

I haven't gotten around to watching any of the webisodes or specials, and while I own the first book, I haven't read it yet. Kinda afraid I'll start to dislike certain characters if I start watching. I hear a lot of complaining about bad personalites and grating voices  Right now I love all my guys and ghouls equally, and I wouldn't want anything to change that. Of course, I will force myself to sit down and get through 3 seasons of webisodes and books. It's just a matter of time.

To change the subject for just a second...... Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself to the Arena. My name is Kristen and I'm 29. I've been lurking here for a couple years (as long as MH has been around) and only decided to join just now thanks to Keelee! I snagged a DotD Deuce from that website she posted a few pages back (he has since sold out ) and I wanted to give her a proper THANK YOU! I only saw him once or twice in stores. Little did I know I'd never see him again. Just saved me $20 or $30 bucks. I also wanted to add that I'm a completionist, and have just about all the dolls, fashions, playsets, and CAM's. I am missing Sig. Abbey though. Been looking for her weekly since June and never saw her once. Thank goodness they're re-releasing her in May. Anyway that's alittle about myself. Once again, thanks Keelee. Best tip yet!

Hello all. My name is Kristen, and I'm 29 years old. I've been lurking on this site for a couple years now, and finally felt the need to join the group. You guys are just about the nicest group of people out there, and seem to make everyone feel welcome and encourage participation. I'm not into social networking and have never posted on a forum before so if I screw up, forgive me please. I don't collect MLP (had a few when I was a child) but I do collect Monster High dolls, so you'll find me in the Dollhouse, if you need me:)
