How sad :(. I did not know him, but I remember his name from the forums. He always seemed kind and levelheaded. My condolences to his loved ones.

I'm having tikka Masala with basmati rice. It's just chicken cut into dices, creme fraiche and a powdermix of Massala spices. Really delicious for not being entirely home made. I did add broccoli though.

Just keep an eye on the ficus, as I said previous, they usually come back but it can take weeks or even a month.

Yummy!

I love the smurfs! Me and hubby rewatched them a year ago. I also love the live action animated movies! I even have their version of A Christmas story on DVD :).

I left my gloves somewhere when I went shopping. I have to go back after I've been to grandpa tomorrow and see if any store I went to have them in lost and found.. I really like those gloves, I've had them for 16 years at least.

Noooo! Poor shrimp!!

Mmmm, lasagna  I'll have Tikka Masala with basmati rice today. I brought it to work yesterday but they served smörgåstårta (sandwitchcake) because of a meeting so I took it home again.

I've been downtown and bought a pair of slippers to my sisters bonus daughter. Apparently she could have smaller sizes. I also bought a pair of pink slippers with white fluff at the rim to myself that were on sale. Gotta love having small feet! You don't find this pink in the womans department around here!

I've wrapped the present with the robe and slippers, wrote a card to My and to grandpa. His birthday is coming up as well but I work that day and I work the day everyone is coming to celebrate so I'm gonna visit him tomorrow instead. I'm also gonna leave Mys present with him so my sister can bring it home. I think I've done well already today and it's not even noon!

I think the rest of the day is gonna be spent diamond painting!

A positive uptdate on Simba is that he's eating again! We bought a new brand of Urinary that's come out and we mixed it with their old food and they eat it like it's candy!

I got an email from the vet yesterday evening while I was at work. She had tried to call but the phone is on silence as I'm working. She looked up and the Apelka can make a cat loose apetite and feel nauseus and even cause vomiting. She thought at the appointment it wasn't the med as his bloodwork looked fine. She adviced me to stop with the med and supplement directly, feed him whatever he wants to eat and see if he gets better and call back in a week. That made me more relieved. Apelka makes more sense than a supplement put in wetfood as he stopped eating kibbles as well.

But if it is the medicine, the only other option for him is to eat a special food and only that for the rest of his life which mean no treats or anything which will be super boring for him and what if he doesn't even likes it? A third option is surgery but we only have two clinics in Sweden that does it and they're down south. We can't afford that :(.

BC I have like half a dozen bank accounts to manage my finances. I have one for my salary and no card connected to it. From it I have instant transfer to the food account, the bills account, the cat account and a couple of savings accounts the minute I get my salary (we're always paid on the 25th so it's easy). I have one account for my credit card, I only use it for debit. If I want to buy anything I have to transfer money from the salary account which gives me time to think and not be too spontaneus.
The food account is joint with John and we both have cards for it The money is for food only so it helps manage to not overindulge. The bills account is joint with John as well, thats rent, electric and internet etc and those goes automatic when they're due. Anything I buy that I want to get as a bill and not direct payment I get remined through email. Very easy set up :).

Bummer, that video is not available here. I think I'm gonna stream the oscars on my next day off so hopefully I can watch it then.

Yaaay for shoes that fit!

Artemesia this reminded me of when I was that age. I hade a make up bag with some leftover makeup I've gotten from grandma to play with. I put some on before going to school one morning and mom grabbed me and washed my face before allowing me to go . I had some hard plastic bracelets I cut right through with a scissor and used as clip on earrings. Mom did not allow me to have them to shool so I smuggled them with me. But it was just me being a kid, not me trying to be older. I feel so sad that kids grow up so early. Childhood is such a small portion of life while being an adult last forever. Why do they need to rush to it?

Spent the morning at the vet. My shift begin an hour and is gonna last for ten hours. I'm running on fumes after just 4 hours of sleep. At least there will be cake! My company has been running five years with the current name so we have a celebration!

HoM! Nooo, poor Ozzy! I hope he's okay!

Ponyfan

We had a vet appointment for Simba this morning. His medication is not the reason for his loss of apetite. It can be the supplement but he has eating it since November and it don't explain the not eating kibbles. The vet spoke about something, maybe a tumour, in his abdomen. We're supposed to give him whatever food he wants without the supplement and see how it goes for the next ten days. I hopehopehope it is the supplement! I cried all the way home worrying about a possible tumour. He ate all of Majsans food we gave him when we came home. If he stop eat that as well within the ten day period we're to book an appointment for a ultrasound.

I grew up in a bad enviroment and used to spend the weekend nights outside roaming the woods and streets with the dog when things got too much at home. The only light, unless it was summer, was the moon. I was in my early twenties when I designed my persona but my mind was still very much locked in the teenage years. The moon is still a good comforter. The sword represent that I survived.

I managed to get some good sleep last night, no nightmares about buses. Ninja woke me by sitting on my head around an hour before breakfast time. Then Majsan noticed I was awake and came and patted my face with her paws. First without claws and when I did not get up she used the claws. I ended up cocooning myself in the covers until it was time to feed them.

Simba don't eat his wetfood anymore and now he is turning down the kibbles. He ate when I handfed them to him one by one. Luckily we have an appointment for him on tuesday.

BC Oh, no! That is confusing! I hope you'll get it sorted!

I managed to find a pale pink fluffy robe! It was the last store I visited. I hope she's okay with the colour. She has totaly abandoned rainbows and unicorns so I am a bit apprehensive about the colour, but it was the only one left. Myself would have loved it as a kid! I still love that soft pink. The slippers were all the wrong sizes too. There might be one in her size in the store in the mall in the outskirts of town.. we'll see if I get there or just give her the robe without slippers.

Today is a beautiful sunny day! It's cold, though, -8 degrees C. I'm gonna head out for a long walk and soak in the sun. I sent a message to a friend and asked if she wants to join me. I hope so, but otherwise I'll walk by my own.

PBW You've been doing good! I feel lazy in comparison.

BC Nice that the inspection didn't happen. I hope they don't surprise you with a random visit though. How are you feeling now after all that sleep?
