Oh...if you don't mean by type - as in the list above - then do you mean by set? i.e. one from the twice as fancy set, one from the big brother set, one from the summer wing set? If thats the case then www.mlpland.com has a nice list of ponies by set which should make it easier.

Because there would be two sets of Flutters but one type of Flutter. So if its type you look for one pony, if its set you look for two ponies one from each set
That's the problem. There's just way too many ponies.
