What is your opinion on Wave 9 and 10 Playful Ponies?

Like the title says, I want to know what your opinion is on the latest wave (wave 9 and 10) playful ponies with the crystal ponies series (tinsel hairs)

At first for me, I didn't like them from the stock images I saw... Then when I picked up my first 2 of the sparkly set (Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy) I absolutely love them! the tinsely hair makes the ponies stand out more for me. I wish they would release some new characters for the next wave like the Ploomette instead of rehashing them and leaving it at that. (image is from Strawberryreef) I'd like to see some of those amazing Blind Bag colour schemes... With tinsel?!?!?! *dies squeeing*

What is your opinion and what ponies would you like to see go with the crystal look?

I've had a fair bit of experience of having ponies with tinsel in all generations. 

I've come to despise it.  Although I won't de-tinsel a pony, I just find that it's detracting overall.  Easily damaged, reacts poorly to heat, snags, is often twisted or gluey from the factory, turns into that gross cotton floss...

Ploomette looks absolutely gorgeous like that. If she doesn't come out soon, I am going to have to buy her on ebay or something, she's really gorgeous (and I don't normally collect taobao ponies!).

I like some tinsel, just not when it is overdone- I think some G3 pony lines used tinsel when they didn't really need to and it just felt like it was thrown in again. It can also feel like another "accessory" instead of part of the pony- okay, so Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash have tinsel, but it's an added thing... not really "genuine" feeling if that makes sense.

Ploomette on the other hand is really supposed to be a crystal pony so it feels more natural for her to have sparkly hair. If there were new ponies (imagine Tea Love or Rainbow Wishes!), it would be more amazing.

I like tinsel on the princesses. They are royalty they should be sparkley. Lol I am not totally sold on the main six. I think I would like it better on new ponies

I don't mind the tinsel too much.  It doesn't really curl well (I have been told) But I have done some basic styling.  I MUST have that Ploomette !!  And any others they may surprise us with

Really really really need more back-ground or non-show ponies or OC ponies or what ever you like to call them. I mean its OK if you want to re-release the snot out of the main 6 with differing features such as tinsel hair or glittery cutie marks, but please throw in a half dozen different ponies!!

Did I miss something??  I've never seen these ponies.  I know that Ploomette was on Taobao, but I didn't realize she was being found in stores.

I'd like to snag a Ploomette if she is released. But I'd like a bunch of the other blind bags even more, especially from wave 6. Magnet Bolt, Sassaflash, Electric Sky, etc. I actually like tinsel! Anything that sparkles and shines is usually good in my book.

I don't mind the coloured tinsel since it's way easier to work with compared to the clear stuff! And the Crystal Empire stuff looks cute

I think the tinsel is pretty but I haven't seen any of the ponies in store yet.

Would live to see Ploomette turn up.

I'm not big on tinsel but that Fluttershy is cute! I still don't have one in my collection yet.

I like them, I don't style my ponies hair though, so if it's a pain in the butt, I don't know about it!  I have that Ploomette, I got her on eBay a few months ago, she's gorgeous.

I'm not a fan of tinsel; the very first tinseled pony I got, Starbeam Twinkle, became a mess the second I removed the piece of plastic from her hair. I'm also not a fan of the mane 6 re releases since I like a lot of variety in my collection, and 'variety' is hard to find in the pony aisle when it's buried in ponies you already have. I do love Ploomette, and I wish they would release a playful pony Sapphire Shores or Rainbow Wishes (or Tea Love <3) - now if they were released I would buy them tinsel or not!

I'm not the only collector in Middlesex County! Yay!

I'm not really a tinsel person... I'll admit that I've detinseled a few of my ponies to make them less... well, tinsely. But I've been letting it slide with G4's, doing my best to just not touch the tinsel ponies' hair so that it won't become a big mess again.

Tinsel loathing aside... I would buy any new brushable they released, especially that Ploomette. I've been waiting since I first saw that picture to see if she would show up.
