Ahh I'm glad you like them! I think we do, yes - well, more boys in general haha, and luckily I am in the process of designing some more! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginFINALLY, another set of ponies! As voted upon by you guys, please welcome the Prince Ponies! Obviously they are male counterparts to the classic Princess Ponies, and there's only three of them, ostensibly for reasons which I will list below; A) They are chiefly drawing inspiration from the Mexican Prince Ponies (of which there are three) B) I wanted to represent all three main species (earth, unicorn and pegasus) C) I couldn't think of any more names and I didn't want to go with the obvious 'Prince Charming' haha Figuring out the elements to parallel the Princess Ponies was interesting - like the shields are mean to be equivalent to the wands (as I didn't want to give them swords lol) - made of the same glittery plastic, they kind of clip onto the leg like Pony Bride's ring does? Same goes for the hats, as it's not like the Princesses are wearing crowns, I thought this type of hat is like the 'male equivalent' essentially  They also have little dragon attendants, like the Princess Ponies do in the UK, but these dragons are female, again to kind of be counterparts? I hope you enjoy them, for some reason I kept forgetting random elements and had to keep going back in to revise them so it was a bit of a frustrating process but I'm very pleased with the result in the end...!

Ahh thankyou! It was a bit of a struggle trying to figure out how to best represent the surface of water with as few lines as possible but I'm pretty happy with the end result - and glad you like it as well!

MLP's core product (the actual basic ponies, I loathe the term 'brushables' when that is the MAIN product, those ARE the titular ponies) has been in steady decline since G3.5, becoming smaller and cheaper with less hair and much less character variety.
I don't understand why Hasbro doesn't seem to get the 'collect them all' mentality which I feel helped drive sales in previous gens - like if kids nowadays don't like one of the main 5-7 characters they're pretty much out of luck whilst there was bound to be at least one they could latch onto in the past given the sheer number of characters and designs.
If they wanted the large ensemble cast to work within an animated show/multimedia, have it so that the 'main' characters are constantly traveling or something, always meeting new friends and going to new places! I have conceptualized something like this myself for how I'd do a new gen - variety is key!

Yeah I'm kind of puzzled why they went with Toradeen. They look cute together, like... aesthetically, and I'm definitely not against either of them liking ladies (lol I'd be a hypocrite if I was, I ship Tora/Catrine and I've always kinda liked Clawdeen/Draculaura), but them liking each other? Personality-wise it seems like an odd pairing? never paid too close attention to any canon past the diaries so idk maybe there's something in a cartoon ep or w/e that hinted towards them... but it seems very random to me tbh 
That's the issue - they were consistently shown to genuinely dislike eachother so this pairing is literally out of nowhere (there is ZERO buildup across all of G1 canon prior to this), which makes it feel like it's literally just pandering for Pride Month  I also feel that Clawdeen wouldn't date someone that's spent so much time bullying her friends - personally I'm baffled as to why they didn't pair her with Viperine? They haven't interacted much but they have similar interests (fashion/makeup) and they have a 2-pack (with some pretty cute artwork) together as well...! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

My understanding is that red dye is very sensitive to sunlight, whether it is from new suppliers or old suppliers, and any light pink has the potential to fade. I would try to keep her out of the light as you would with a normal pony.  It might be more resilient, or brighter because it's new, but I don't believe there is any pink hair that is 100% fade-resistant.
Red pigment in general is very sensitive to sunlight - it may have something to do with red having the shortest wavelength of light? All our red/pink pool toys fade in like a week during the summer
