A Simple Quilt

I had several shirts from high school that I didn't know what to do with. There was no way I was going to wear any of them to college, so they were doomed to collect dust in my closet. I didn't want that, and decided to repurpose my shirts. So I made a quilt! Or a blanket I guess.

I did everything by hand. I don't own a sewing machine, just a couple of needles and thread. I'm actually hiding behind the quilt, but it's about as long as me! This is the first big sewing project I've ever done, and I wanted to share it with the arena. Nothing is too small for anyone! Just some time and effort and anything can happen.

It really did. I always looked positively to what I had accomplished and what was almost done. It took me abour 12 hours or more.

I adore quoting and I've thought about doing a similar project. Not without a sewing machine though lol. You did an awesome job!
