My childhood princess trixiebelle is missing her neck ruff, I would like to find her a replacement when I can, but I decided to try to make a replacement one for her to be displayed with until then! :) I used craft foam (from the very smart suggestion from my friend) and fabric paint!

Here is a picture of the original accessory that comes with her.

I cut more spikes than the original has but I think it looks OK from far away.
Does anyone have experience with fabric paint on ponies? I want her to be wearing it for display, but could the colour bleed on to her? I am toying with the idea of using sealant to make sure.
Has anyone else on the forum made accessories like these, replica or original for your ponies? I would love to see!

The craft foam is a great idea!!! I'd love to make for my G1 & G3 Trixiebelles

Ooh that is a clever idea! And it looks fantastic, I couldn't tell the difference at first before you pointed out the number of spikes.

That's a great idea and the result looks fantastic!

That's really clever! It looks great! Fabric paint can stain, yes. I would use either a spray or brush on sealer.

That is very pretty. I am trying to do something similar with Frienshipball Sunny Daze's cape that I lost. I also tried to crochet small hats for ponies too, but they are not replacement.

I could probably recreate a lot of things with my husband's 3d printers... but he is way better at Blender than I am!

Thank you! I will make sure to put some sealant on to it before I display her with it. :) Thank you for the advice!
