Adult Lemon Drop variants - Compiling a list! Still some hoof markings needed

I've been compiling a list of adult Lemon Drop variants to resume my army building after a looong hiatus, and a few questions have popped up. In case someone is interested, I'll be happy to share the list in the near future (i.e. once I get a proper layout done), but there are a few pieces of information that need to be verified and/or completed.

Greek Lemon Drop seems to come in two versions: one with purple, the other with light blue symbols. I've seen photos of both versions MIP and it seems likely to me that the light blue version is a true variant instead of faded. Opinions?

Anybody got an Italy Dwarf with airbrushed eyes, stamped "© '82 Hasbro Pat Pend / Italy"? I know ponies in the dwarf mold sometimes have AB eyes but so far I've seen only one such Lemon Drop.

Are there two different piggy Lemon Drops, one with solid purple drops as symbol and the other with highlights to them? I've seen at least one photo of the latter.

How about a NC Lemon Drop with darker symbols? Does she exist? Anybody got one?

A quick visit to the Nirvana Gallery and 2) now I know of 2 Italy Dwarves w/AB eyes (do I?); 3) yes, there appear to be 2 of them; 4) still the only one I've seen.

greek lemondrop ~ i am not sure, mine has very purple drops with not much bleeding. i think the difference might be due to paint batches, i am not 100% sure though.

italy lemondrop ~ PASS! i get lost when it comes to dwarf poses and such

piggy ~ yes there are two versions, one with solid drops and the other with highlight

NC lemondrop ~ i have only seen one with the daker drops.

I would love a copy of that list once you are done. I'm afraid I'm not much help though. I am also working on a lemon drop army, but I haven't gotten into the Nirvanas yet.

Thanks everyone for your photos and contributions, present and future. I guess I'm pretty well on the map by now but there's always something someone else knows better.

zora, I'd truly love comparison photos of the two NC LDs.

hm i just noticed for the first time that the dark symbol NC lemondrop has the pat pend stamp on her feet, the light symbol variant has pat pend removed ^^

At least the light symbol one comes both with and without pat pend stamp, I have both versions and they are otherwise similar.

so this pat pend thing has nothing to do with the color maybe all others are just faded

Did you check the oddity Lemon Drop without Hasbro stamp from the Nirvana Gallery? I have her and there is another one but I'm not sure who owns her (Leikin?). Both these oddity Lemon Drops were found in Finland

Goldilocks, I knew of Leikin owning one of these weirdoes but didn't know there's another. When there are two of them, there has to be more somewhere. I guess I'll have to add her to the list.

I still have doubts about the light and dark versions. They might be just different paint batches, but… Zora, do the symbols of the two LD's pictured look the same shape to you? I can verify that the dark NC LD's symbol is similar to that of my PP light one. Sadly my NPP light version is away from me, so I'm unable to verify myself :C (the bulk of my collection resides at the 'rents).

I have another question: anyone got comparison photos of MO LD versus HK 2- and 4-stampers and the China one? I've talked to a motherload of people claiming they have a MO LD while it's actually an ordinary HK 2-stamper with the darker drops. There's a thread about them initiated by me somewhere in the Corral but I dare not link to it since it contains too much misinformation.

NC light symbols - pat pend or not?
greek smaller drops/greek bigger drops - I've never heard about this difference. Photos anyone? Are they similarly coloured?
italy ab eyes (?) slanted symbols, more redishpurple (not as much as macau) - Hmm, there exist LDs in the dwarf mold with AB eyes. How are her feet stamped? Photos?
italy dark purple symbols - How are her feet stamped?
hong kong 4 feet light symbols - Light purple? If yes, this is the MO version.
hong kong 4 feet medium symbols
hong kong 2 feet - would love a comparison photo of these three HK:s!

I'll have to check my A-B eye italian, but don't forget the red-head, well magenta haired LD from italy = stamp eye and I think 2 stamp, but I will have to check

that is really cool to see about the NC with dark drops!! I am partial to thinking now that the light is faded, but dunno, will be on the lookout for a dark drop NC as I like her better :-)

oh and for italy there is also a white italian with blue drops and purple hair = like yellow LD.  I think also stamp eyes


gotta love the italians for all the variants of course
