Thanks for your interest! I finally got a few answers by digging around on some carousel suppliers websites. I did join a group on facebook and they have helped. I actually found a carousel that has the exact design of my horse.... it happens to be on the opposite side of the country....and it happens to be one I grew up with..... which also means its my favorite carousel and its the one that made me want a carousel horse in the first place! My mom might even have a few photos of me on this carousel. This project just became even more special. After more digging around I found that both these horses are from the Red Robin restaurant. I have been busy coloring in sketches and I am getting closer to what I want for at least one of the horses.

A few days ago my doorbell rings and there is a full sized carousel horse on my porch complete with stand. I shut the door laughing then I called my kids over to open the door. They open it and there were two full sized carousel horses and my husband on the porch. I have wanted one for years and Im very excited to restore/repaint! But..

I am running into a few problems and there just isn't enough information on how to repair these.

1. Does anyone know how to remove the pole from the horse? Its two separate pieces and the upper part is loose on one, so far twisting does nothing.

2. I think they are a fiberglass reproductions- Does anyone know how to sand or prep the material to be repainted?

3. Is there anyway to add to or carve this material? I want to make a few minor changes but it still needs to be durable for use.

4. Does anyone know where the manufactures mark would be? I have checked them both over and I cant find it.

5. Does anyone know how I could turn them into a rocking horse? There was a place online that sold a kit back when I started looking but they have since gone out of business and I never could find a tutorial even if I got the supplies.

My girls have requested Rosedust the flutter pony so I think I will use that as my inspiration on the one with RR one it. Not sure about the other yet but still want MLP inspired.

I have been trying to get my hands on a large carousel horse for years. A few days ago my doorbell rings and there is a full sized carousel horse on my porch complete with stand. I shut the door laughing then I called my kids over to open the door. They open it and there were two full sized carousel horses and my husband on the porch. Im very excited to restore/repaint! Ponyville - Bumper Cars is open. Everything is in the box, nothing missing.

Ponyville - Rain or Shine with Merriweather and Shenanigans never opened.

Ponyville - Birthday afternoon with Rainbow Dash and Bunches-o-Fun. Never opened.

Boxes are a little dirty and maybe scuffed.

I also have a few advent calendars somewhere if anyone is interested I can find them.

Thanks! That helps a lot. I am wondering if I should just make a little flip book of the ponies images like the Giggle bean photo with the ponies name on it and forget the stories. I cant see how I will make them look like a nice little book with all the different back card styles.

*even though I need a break I need money more so it wont hurt to ask if I have time*

No chews that I saw when I laid them out. Few may have marks but nothing that looks permanent but no guarantees. Willing to cut deals and the more ponies you buy the better deal I am willing to negotiate.

I've been playing the FiM game but now I'm stuck because I refused to do the social networking to get hearts. I only have one mission left in ponyville and that is to buy the town hall.(I'm a third of the way there) In Canterlot I have two mission that I am stuck on, get Minuette and Twilights dad. Can I add people here to get hearts?

Also:
I cannot figure out how to update my game. My experience level is capped out at 70. I have the EG dancing game and the mine cart game but I don't have Sweet Apple acres (besides buying the barn when I got applejack) Will this unlock or do I need an update? Has there been a problem with the game restarting when updates are run? because I do not want to start over.

 I put my collection into Klect but I seemed to have missed a few and my foreign ponies.
Shady is not a deflock as far as I can tell. If there is a definitive way to tell let me know.
Sunlight is greek.
The baby sisters have their original ribbons.
Buttons does has a blue streak under her that Im sure will sun fade out I just havn't gotten to it.
No hair cuts.
Kisscurl hair  is faded and a little dry.
If someone wants to have a go at the accessories that would be great.
The plushes are overall great. The usual eye scratches and rubs.
Only Moondancer and one Blossom have hair cuts. Moondancers hair is frizzy. Blossom is missing an eye. (shes actually my favorite)
The babies hair is kindof thin

Thanks- they are the best FBR I have ever managed. Its my most irritating part of customizing, and I no longer have the right air compressor to run my airbrush.

In the end I couldn't bring myself to bait either of the Cherries. I did however find another baity Lickety Split. None of the girls had tails and the mane hair was about as ratty as it can get. The Cherries are either going to be in my collection or in my sale bin for someone else. I just have not had the time to round up 300 or so ponies to sell.

Paper Mache! That might be perfect, although messy. I seem to make disastrous messes with the stuff. Thats a great place for me start planning.

Spent the day painting and finishing rehairing. I really love how the lampshade turned out. I had to paint the trimming since the pink and blue seeped into it. Almost want to buy another one to paint to match my living room. I watered down my acrylics into a water color. Not quite the colors of the Sweet dreams crib but I was afraid to mix the right color incase I ran out. I set the shade over another lamp so I could see how the ponies will look. They are not attached just standing under it. Lickety's hair glue is drying, and she will need a new paint job since it cracked around the ears. I may just leave it since I'm out of that mixed color and hope the hair hides it.

Anybody have any ideas about the cloud part of the mobile? I'm tempted not to try it.
