Me too. I'm pretty sure it's based off of a mongoose with that name, but I immediately thought it looked like an angry little weasel. I kinda love it.

The rock puppy Pokemon is also too cute!

I'm still holding out hope for a dolphin Pokemon. It's all I've ever wanted (and would make so much sense for an island region)!!! *fingers crossed*

I like the little woodpecker and dog, and my fiance's excited about the grub (of course he is). I paid off my preorder at Gamestop for Sun, so I'm set for November!

I'm curious of whether we'll be able to bring Pokemon from Alola back into the previous generation. I know that, so far, you can't bring Pokemon back in generations, only forward...But I'm guessing this new generation will be compatible with the Pokebank, so I have a little bit of hope! I recently fell into hardcore breeding (perfect IVs, hidden abilities, egg moves...) and I'd like it if I could get my starter, bring it into OR and breed for a really good one so I won't have to replace it later on. The setup at the Battle Resort is so perfect for breeding, I even have a Vulpix and a Fennekin with perfect IVs that I could breed Litten with....But that's probably asking waaaay too much!

I'm leaning towards Sun.  I'm looking forward to starting with Litten.  I love the look of so many of the Pokemon we've seen so far.

I'm lucky; I have a brother who's into Pokemon too. He's using my old 3DS now, so we're probably going to get both versions. I'm going with Moon, and I'm so excited for my Rowlet and his LI'L BOWTIE!!!!!! <3

I love the new pikachu 3ds that is coming out! Too bad we already own a pair of functioning 3DS, because my husband loves it too.

There's still hope yet for us (dolphin lovers!) yet! I've been seeing this dolphin Pokemon allllll over reddit, and while every website says its a hoax made by someone called PokeFaktory, but I've seen it in the past with a woodpecker Pokemon- that looks a lot like Pipek so who knows. I'm holding my breath here for a similar dolphin.

I will be SO disappointed if its not an official Pokemon, because it reminds me of an ancient dolphin with vestigial flippers! It doesn't  quiet look like the ancient fish, icthyasaur, but it looks like a dolphin and I love it.

I guess technically we do have a dolphin Pokemon already! Kyogre is based of an orca, which is NOT actually a whale but a large dolphin. Still.....I'm not satisfied until I see an official bottlenose-like dolphin! x3 As a Floridean who lived in a house on the beach  I loooooove dolphins!!!! *squeeee*

*Googles new Pokemon 3DS* Those are cute, but I prefer the last Pikachu one. I know what you mean though. In anticipation of X and Y coming out, Kenai gifted me a 3DS for Christmas. Then like a month or two later they announced the LE Pikachu 3DS. Of course I fell in love with it, but I didn't want to replace the one that was gifted to me. Months later my 3DS was starting to get a little scratched up and I wanted to get a skin to protect it. On Ebay I found some Chinese sellers had skins that were the same picture as the LE Pikacku 3DS for like $10. Score! I got the look I wanted without getting a new 3DS. Give it some time. Maybe the Chinese sellers will do the same thing for this design.

This problem seems to be a running trend with me. I got my Gameboy Color, N64 and DS Lite all shortly before a LE Pokemon version was released.
