Help!

So my friend is a HUGE fan of a particular British actor and I happened to find info on how to request a autograph and reassurance that this actor is very responsive to such requests. Problem is I need Royal mail postage for the return envelope. I'm looking at the website and honestly it doesn't offer quite what I had hoped for (a flat rate cardboard mailer) so I'm not really sure how much postage to order or if they will send the postage international?

Is there anyone thatcan help me sort this out?

MLP Nirvana / Tell Me About Indian Funskool, MIP, Distribution ++
« on: March 21, 2017, 06:32:20 AM »
Are there any pictures of a Indian Funskool MIP or of their back cards/box?? Do we know anything about their packaging??

I suspect they were packed in English language, seeing as India has a huge English speaking population, but I so hope and wish they were not! I can't recall ever seeing or hearing about a Funskool MIP but that has the potential to be a especially interesting one so hope someone knows something!

On a side, do we know their distribution? Was it all of India or just specific regions? Pakistan?

I've seen posts with people finding these in the wild, primarily in the US and UK, but only once (Bridget's mum?) do I recall a post about finding them in actual India. Do we know of any others that came to the collector community directly from their native country?

Tell me more about Indian Funskool!

MLP Nirvana / Are There Any Non G1 Nirvana??
« on: March 09, 2017, 06:49:29 AM »
I know very little about other Generations, are there any non G1 Nirvanas?

Are there any exclusive non G1 ponies that were not avalable in North America OR Europe? (not fast food toys, but proper ponies sold on store shelves)

Pony Corral / If G1 Were In Stores Now.....
« on: February 27, 2017, 10:46:15 AM »
..... if G1 were in stores now and you could just go buy them MIP or order them online, would they still be as much fun to collect?

If you don't collect G1 now, would you if they were avalable?

Pony Corral / Molded vs Brushable Hair?
« on: February 22, 2017, 07:58:08 AM »
As a collectable, how important is brushable hair for MLP? I noticed G4 (which I do not know well) has molded hair versions of some of the main characters toys, but they do not seem popular? As collectors, how important is being able to style and play with their hair? Is the hair part of what makes this toy appealing to display and collect?

Arts & Crafts Corral / Help! Free Apps for Graphics??
« on: February 16, 2017, 12:56:09 PM »
Hello!

Can anyone recommend a good free app for producing and editing graphics on my smartphone? I don't need it to be super fancy, I'm only trying to produce a graphics quality of a adoptable if that is a helpful reference. I'm totally overwhelmed with options in my app store :( hoping someone with more experience can suggest something.

Thank you!!

MLP Nirvana / Ponies with a earth/peg & uni variant?
« on: January 05, 2017, 12:43:23 PM »
Is moonstone the only pony with variants that are all 3: unicorn, pegasus and earth pony?

I've been trying to think of another pony with all 3 and all I can think of is Milkyway, but her pegasus was the HK/China baby, so not sure if that counts since it's not nirvana?

no idea why, but this has been bothering me that I can't think of more!

Off Topic / It's a Boy!
« on: December 14, 2016, 05:41:02 PM »
Hello,

Just wanted to share my excitement, there are several people on here I've talked to about my pregnancy and I'd like to update that baby has arrived and it's a little boy!

Alaric was born on Monday 12/12/2016 @ 11:20am. 9LB!

As I've mentioned before, my first child was born in a hospital and the experience was very dehumanizing and traumatic for me, my child and my husband. Because of this we chose to not hire a Dr. or midwife for this pregnancy, birth or post and I was hoping to labor and birth completely alone if possable. I'm very proud to say that I accomplished exactly what I wanted and birthed alone in the dark of my basement while my husband and daughter played upstairs. I'm really proud of myself and really enjoying this whole experience and wanted to share :) This was more than just the birth of our child, it also helped us heal from our previous painful experience.

For the record, I know my choices are controversial in many cultures including mine here in  the US. Pregnancy and birth are one of the most personal experiences a woman and her family can have and I did what made me feel safest and most comfortable. I fully support every person having as many options as possible and the support to do whatever they need for their unique situation, so I hope no one judges me because I do not judge them.

I am sharing about my solo birth experience because I am proud for doing something that ment so much to me and my family, it was such a important part of this experience for us, and because I want to empower others. Do what feels right for you as a unique person! Never compromise  on what you need to feel safe  and whole to satisfy culture norms' or the expectations of others.

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Is There a Transformers Equivalent to the Arena?
« on: November 23, 2016, 09:54:46 AM »
Just like the title asks, is there a Web forum for Transformers collecting like we have here for ponies? I found a few things on Google, but they did not look very active or seemed more focused on the recent generations since the movies came out....

thank you!

Pony Corral / Do You Care Where They Go?
« on: November 20, 2016, 10:54:34 AM »
When you sell or trade a pony (or any toy really) do you care where it goes or what happens to it?

I was looking at a collection brag of someone I'd traded with a while back and saw a pony I'd sent her on display in the background. It was not a high value pony and had been unappreciated in a cabnet at my home for a long time so it really felt good to see it loved.

It has me thinking, how much do you care about where your sold or traded ponies go. How much is about getting top value and how much is about knowing your pony will be enjoyed? When you see collection photos from people you have sold to do you look for the pony you sent them?

As a buyer, do you take special care of ponies you know came from a special collection or know the seller cared about?

Pony Corral / Anyone Have The Blue Prom Queen MIB???
« on: November 03, 2016, 06:24:31 PM »
If anyone has the blue prom queen MIB, can you help me get a good photo of the comb? I'm trying to identify how dark or light it is supposed to be.

Thank you!!!
