I've been feeling kinda down about my art lately, so, before bed, I wanted to try and whip up something I could hopefully feel proud of. I always love drawing ponies, I love G3, and I love G1 Bowtie. So, I kinda just ended up combining all of the above as I went.

I whipped her up in about an hour, which is surprisingly fast for me. Admittedly, I did get lazy when it came to her hair. Nevertheless, I'm happy enough with her and I hope y'all enjoy her as well. :art:
EDIT: I was commissioned by Lady Frostbite to draw Pony Bride in the G1 style. Instead of creating a whole new thread, I figured I'd just reuse this one for any future G3ifications I may do.

I also tried to make her symbol look more in-line with G3's cutie marks. I used the marks on Angel Dove, Sweet Sparkle, and Glitterbelle for reference.

I love her I think she's beautiful. Is the symbol a tiny bit low on her leg possibly? That's the only thing I can spot, but I would look at her all day :)

Excellent work, I love your artwork! You did such a good job imitating the G3 style. Although you say that you got lazy with it, I especially love the mane, though it is all lovely.

It looks a little low to me as well, but otherwise she is absolutely adorable! That is an awesome job!

Thank you!! :heart: For the body, I do it very similarly to the Sonic Adventure style (airbrush the shading along the outside of the body, then go over with the highlights), but softer, and with the addition of extra shadows in certain places. Also, I use A LOT of references. The software I use, Clip Studio Paint, has a subview window where you can put your references and look at them while you draw. Definitely comes in handy with these.

I have an interesting question to ask: Is it possible for you to G3ify curtain other characters that are not ponies like: G1 Spike, Weston, Danny Williams, Megan Williams, Molly Williams?
Overall these style renderizations are great and accurate. but still wondered if you do more than just ponies.

Also sorry if this seems to look like a request but I'm curious to know if you can do G3 style with other characters that aren't ponies.

Thank you for your kind words! G1 Spike would definitely be possible since G3 has its own Spike, but I would have no idea how to go about doing the Williams kids. As for other characters, such as Weston, it would really depend on if I can find any material in the official G3 art to compare it to. Weston himself would be a very weird case since the artstyle for birds in particular vary in different G3 material. They seem to range from vibrant and cartoony (https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/518uqku8QoL._AC_SY780_.jpg) to more realistic (https://derpicdn.net/img/view/2012/11/22/159893.jpg). There's also some other characters that are in this weird in-between, such as Catrina. There's some G3 art out there with cats on them, so a headshot of a G3ified Catrina wouldn't be hard to make, but the rest of her would be an issue.
TL;DR: Some characters would be absolutely possible, whereas others would be significantly harder to figure out. It's really just a case-by-case basis.
