Did you ever hear back from hathorcat1320? I am in a similar situation. I was happily communicating with her on ebay about some transactions and then nothing. She had been great communication wise up until that point, so I also feel something must of gone very wrong and I am a bit worried for her.

Thank you everyone for posting your alternate rehair photos.  They are so inspiring!  I'm so impressed by how well different colours work on all the ponies.

Pony Corral / Sticky Pony Hair

Just wanted others opinions on what is going on with my G1 Tex Big Brother Pony.  Even after I've washed him his mane and tail have a sticky feeling to them.  His body does not feel sticky.  I've heard of plasticizer leaching out of ponies bodies but not just their manes and tails.  Do you think that is what this is?  Any other ideas?  Also do you think it's safe keeping him with my other ponies or should he be quarantined?  Please let me know your thoughts.

Pony Corral / Sunfading G1 Surprise
« on: May 30, 2019, 03:33:13 AM »
Hi everyone,

I'm new to pony restoration and am thinking about sunfading a rather cream coloured G1 Surprise.  She does not seem to be on the list of ponies that are safe or unsafe to sunfade.  So I was wondering if anyone has successfully sunfaded her or had a bad experience sunfading her?  Please let me know.  Thanks.

Introductions / Hi from Australia

Hi,

I'm Jenny and this is my first post.  I was 5 years old when the first G1 pony was made.  I collected them from age 5 to 11 and have recently started collecting again when I came across my childhood ponies.  I'm only collecting G1 ponies and particularly love the fist five years of G1.  My first pony was Cotton Candy and she is still a favourite.  Ponies bring me lots of joy.  I am very happy to join the MLP community and look forward to picking up lots of tips about the restoration of ponies.

It's great to meet you all.

Jenny
