I really dig the animated characters. They definitely do have a Disney vibe, though! They could hang out with Sisu and be right at home.
The toys we've seen don't seem to even try to capture that aesthetic, which is kind of a shame!
The 2D character art also falls a little short of the charm of the 3D models, but that's super common with this kind of thing. 2D and 3D design have such different needs. Similarly, the G4 ponies looked a little odd in 3D.
All in all: I'm excited for G5 and hoping that we'll get toys that look more like the animated characters!

Let's make it a party boat, then! I'll let you know if I find any good leads! (I really wish they'd stop releasing her in these big sets.)

Hello there, everyone! I'm trying to keep my Muffins collection more-or-less complete, and I've been dragging my hooves a little in getting the Toys'R'Us exclusive Friendship Festival Party version because it's part of a pricey set. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginDoes anyone have a Muffins from this set that they are looking to sell? If not, would anybody be interested in ponies from this set if I were to sell them individually? Thanks!

I love these! Crossing my fingers for Muffins and waiting for Rarity in this new form!
They look more "on model" to Lauren Faust's pitch drawings for the show than they do to the final characters in the show. The expressive limbs, pointy muzzles, face arrangements, and pear-shaped bodies really give that impression.

I think I remember seeing some prototypes floating around, but I don't think many surfaced on TaoBao. I didn't know Muffins was in the set until it was released. That was a surprise!

(FOUND! Thank you!)
Hi there!
I'm looking for the Fashion Style Muffins pony from the Target Exclusive set. If buy the set myself, but she's really the only one I want.
I'm in the US, and I'd like to buy from seller who is also in the US.
Thank you!

If anyone wants to split a set, I only want Soarin and Spitfire, not Muffin Horse or the modified Rainbow and Fluttershy or cheerleader Pinkie.
I'd be absolutely interested in Muffins from the set! She's the only one I'm after. I'm curious to compare this Muffins with the SDCC prototype / final releases. The face and Cutie Marks are probably different from pony to pony, but yeah, in a nutshell, this does make SDCC muffins less "special." MLP SDCC exclusives officially don't matter anymore, I guess? (Hasbro why)

I've been looking for information about the SDCC exclusives, too!
I'm still hoping that Muffins gets an Equestria Girls doll sometime. Comic Con sounds like a likely place for that to happen!

I started a new TCG mini-binder just for this year's anniversary promotions! This is the coolest; I've loved Pokémon ever since it first hit the US!

Oh dear.
Their social media team has been wrong about these things before. Hoping that's the case here!

That's not surprising. Some people are bashing BaB for not anticipating her popularity, and I think that's a little unfair. They probably had as many of these made as they possibly could. I suspect she'll be back soon, and in greater numbers, just like Toothless was.
