Another hair thread

So, in the past I always got hair from Dollyhair, never had any problems.  But I get that things have changed in the past few years.  So I'm looking for more hair sources/advice.  I'm looking at Retro Dolls as they are in the same state as me, but it looks like selection is extremely limited right now (looks like they are moving their website?).  Then I looked at Restore Doll, and I'm a little confused about what the different types of hair are like.  Would their "Nylon" be closest to MLP hair?  Or "Nylatex" or "Premium Nylon" (not many colors available in this so hopefully not).  Which is the closest in texture to the dolllyhair mlp hair?

 I am so glad you asked this. i have all the same questions.
I haven't bought dollyhair in ages and it was the only hair iv ever bought that I was happy with and how close to the original hasbro mlp hair. i bought some other a very long time ago that said hair for mlp and it was horrible, thick and stiff and I couldn't to use on ponies
anyways in that time iv heard the news and am now confused where to go for the next best hair and I thought retro dolls colours were limited.

also when you are restoring a pony back to its original self, how to find the exact matching colour now.

As far as RestoreDolls goes, the "Premium Nylon" is actual Nylon. I do like their Saran a lot.
TheDollPlanet has been my go-to as of late, though. Their high-temperature nylon is incredibly soft and styles very well. It's not the exact same, of course. I've not bought from Retrodolls personally.
I wonder if the Aliexpress hair would be of good use? Hm...

Specific colors I'm looking for are bright rainbow colors, and whatever Munchy's hair color is (dark pink?  light red?).
