Sooo, am I the only one who does this?...

I often get ponies second hand or in ebay lots or even occasionally need to groom one of my own.
Rather than bend over a sink with a comb.. sometimes I just bring them with me while I take a bath. (not actually IN the bath, nobody likes tailrust!) but tubside I can comb and condition them right there and then they can dry out on the tub sill too.

Tell me you do it too!

Hmmm I let my nieces play with my bate G1 ponies in the bath and they love to soap their hair up and rinse it out, of course after the bath I pop their heads off and pull the tails out to keep them from rusting. ready n dry for the nest bath time.

I took a pony in the bath just to bring back memories,Ill admit to it. It was sorta fun.

I took ponies in the shower once! Just to wash hair and bodies (was careful to avoid rust situations as well!) then lined them up on the edge of the tub to dry

I've brought ponies into the shower, yeah.  Scrubbed them clean and then got out and replaced tail washers and clamps.    I would be too grossed out about the dirty ponies to sit in the water with them...  ewwww...

Well does taking a bubble bath with the sea ponies count?  When I am sick I treat myself to a sea pony bath. LOL  My little dog loves to watch sea ponies floating in water.  None of my sea ponies are mint and they all have loose heads...so why not have a little fun from time to time.

I've taken ponies i was restoring showering with me before. They needed a hair wash and conditioning, and so did I. Might as well get it all done in one go. Of course, some were already decapitated at that point to deal with rust issues, so that may have looked a little weird. >>

the sink is high in my bathroom so i dont need to lean over. its very easy having everything i need on the sides and hot water flowing. sometimes i take them in the shower with me since i can just sit and take them apart without making a mess

No but it sounds like something I would do! I love baths but usually do not have use of a tub only a shower.

I do it too! I don't have them in the bath with me but i do clean them in the bath while i kneel over it - it's just easier and a lot less messy! You are not alone!:-)

I don't do this yet, but you're giving me ideas this sounds like a fun way to pass time while soaking in the tub (and an easy way to get some ponies cleaned! I've got like 60 G3's that need their hair done)  Thanks for the tip

I've done that before! Took a few G3s to the tub with me and conditioned their manes while I soaked in the tub. I don't think I'd take a really dirty pony with me, though. That would gross me out.

Oh gosh, I've never done this before but it has crossed my mind. I've mostly just been embarrassed by what my family would say, but this thread is really making me want to now!

I have a bait-ish Wavedancer (she's clean, but has several mold stains) and I've thought about taking her into the bath with me since I love Sea Ponies but have never seen one in action. What I'd really love is to take her to a pool, but that's the quickest way to lose friends I'm sure!

I have a bath plus shower. I always leave conditioner in their hair for a couple days. Love how it works on some frizzy ponies:) There is a ledge in this shower that does not get showered on, so they always stay up their when I am doing a spa day....so its a regular time period that there are ponies in the show with me....my husband has a hard time with it though:P
