I need to get more ponies and haven't seen any new ones other than the 6 travel ponies... Here is the thing, Hasbro cannot take full blame for the lack of distribution... Some stores will refuse to set certain new items out till they have their resets or unless they are really starting to run low on items on the shelf.. I have yet to see Diamond Rose and Cherry Pie I thing for those reasons... both of my Wal-marks are still pretty much in full stock of the sets they have because a lot of kids in my area already have at least one of the toys or so... Target is the same way and still has some of the Canterlot sets which I need to find out when those will go on sell so I can get them..

FS Applejack doesn't surprise me seeing as she seems to be the most elusive FS pony out there. $40 isn't that crazy compared to what some other ponies go for.
Sweetie Swirl on the other hand    Man, that's insane!

Wow. I was just debating spending $20-30 for the carousel set just for Sweetie Swirl (and so my kids can have the play set)... guess it's not a bad price compared to getting just that pony on eBay!

Sweetie swirl's price surprises me. She's just another boring pink unicorn. There must be a lot of g4 completionist collectors.

Man, that carousel set is really a lot of fun too, I'd think that more ppl might be interested in the set and the pony, but I guess that's probably just shipping.

That almost makes me tempted to sell mine. Almost. I actually got my Carousel set back in I think January from Target on clearance. I only paid $10 for the set, which I bought exclusively to get Sweetie Swirl. I was tempted to buy the rest of them at the time (there were 5) but I knew I didn't have room to store them and seeing how I can't get rid of the carousel from the set I did buy or the Rarity from the set, I'm glad I didn't end up doing it.

I have been hunting Sweetie Swirl for a while too. Sucks. I REALLY hope to find her at a yard sale this summer. I'd rather not pay what she's going for.

That's the same here.  My Target is usually about two months ahead of my Walmart so we JUST got the luggage ponies at Walmart but Target has had them since March.  I was in Target today looking at what they had left... as for singles, they don't have much but the larger Canterlot sets... there are three that I am waiting to go on sale so I can grab them for a decent price.  I did kick myself for not grabbing Twilight Sparkle's balloon when it was $10.


I never even saw the carousel set here.  I never saw Rarity's carriage either.  I would love to get a Sweetie Swirl but not if she's selling for THAT price.  Geeze.  AJ's prices seem normal for the past few months.  I'm just glad they are re-releasing her because I need to get her.  I never picked her up when she was out because I wasn't collecting G4's then.  Man, am I kicking myself for that.

why not just buy the carousel for the $35 it sells for in stores and get everything, instead of paying $50+ for ONE pony??
