I've had her for awhile and have finally come across some yellow hair (not exact match, but still a nice AJ yellow). Not the best pic of her but you can see where her hair ends under her belly.
Update:
Curling didn't help, I re-rooted her. I think she looks better now...

I wouldn't have even known she had a haircut lol :p I would just leave her as is :)
-
If it bothers you, then I'm all for rehairing :)
-
Well, it is still long, so I probably wouldn't if she were mine, but she isn't. :P
As Black Curtains said, if it will make you feel better, go for it!
-
I think she looks beautiful as is, but it is completely up to you. It would be kind of fun to see her with different color hair.
-
I would probably try to find a closer match and "fill in," but that's me.
However, I do like to jazz up some of my awkward, common G1s with new color re-hairs, so that may be an option too.
-
Friziness can be a real pain. I say give her new locks.
-
She looks cute! Very long hair gets in the way sometimes... =)
I like G1 ponies with haircuts. I would rather it never happened, but since there's no going back in time and preventing it, well, might as well enjoy it when possible! It gives them personality! I even seek them out sometimes. =P I prefer to see G1s stay as original as possible. If the hair is buzzed off, rehair it if you want. If it's still got some length, leave it. Even if it's a bit frizzy. =)

I think she looks ok, I can't tell. I'd give her a super conditioning treatment and then maybe curl her hair or something so you don't notice the cut too much :)
-
If its for yourself, and you can't stand it the way it is, I say rehair away, but, if you may resell down the track, I would try to steer clear of a rehair unless its like a buzz cut or damaged beyond repair. I actually think she looks fine as she is, and I wouldn't have known she had a haircut either :)
-
I'd head towards selling her to someone who doesn't mind the cut - it's really not very drastic! - and buying one with better hair for yourself. :)

Meeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! Hehehe:)

If it really bothers you, I say go for it.
-
I would normally say rehair, but I think you should leave it as is!
-
It if annoys you I would say rehair or sell her to someone who wont be bothered by the trim - otherwise curl her hair and leave as is! I dont think you ll notice it anywhere near as much this way
-
I really appreciate everyone's opinions as it helps to know what other collectors think. :ohyeah: :joy:
What bothers me most is she's got uneven layers hiding there  , her tail is probably an inch too short as well as her mane. I'm a pro at curling but no matter how hard I try, I just can't get rid of frizz :enraged: !
(I always disclose if something has been changed on a sales pony. She'll stick around for awhile.)
-
Rehair, rehair! All ponies deserve to look their best ;)
-
I'll see if I can boil her head off this evening... Here she is compared to my other wingers (and the little flitter above her might get re-haired again cuz that hair is really short that I had to replace her buzz cut).

(You've twisted my arm, can I have it back now Tuney?)
-
I don't think it looks that bad, so I wouldn't rehair her. But if it is driving you crazy and you want to, go for it!
-
She'll fit in better now... Glad I did take her apart, she was just starting some tail rust... Her new look is in the first post.
-
She looks DAAARRRRLING. :)
-
You did a really nice job, she looks beautiful :)
-
She looks nice well done!!
