Saw a Busy Book with the toys in them so... I have more miniponies!  We'll see how the bidding goes today and tomorrow.

I have those Busy Book ponies, too! I was a bit saddened by the low quality, but can't say I'm disappointed because I didn't expect much to begin with. They now live on an out-of-the-way bookshelf where their pony presence can be felt, but their paint flaws and odd molds aren't noticeable. (What is up with Sweetie Belle? Her head is so weird! And Spike looks like he fell flat on his face one...or ten...too many times.)

I originally picked up the set because it had all three Cutie Mark Crusaders. Sadly, these figures look particularly terrible displayed alongside the Class of Cutie Marks Set Apple Bloom. Never again shall the two worlds meet; Apple Bloom will just have to be content with Pony Lesson Set Twist-a-Loo as her only companion.

When are you going to make Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo minifgures, Hasbro? How is Apple Bloom supposed to deal with Silver Spoon and Diamond Dazzle Tiara without her best buds to back her up? *drama*

  I looked at them closer (than the cursory "which of the 2 here looks better) than I did in store and Celestia is small but OK, Cadence is almost right, the Mane6 are just... off..., and the Crusaders look like someone beat them with an ugly stick for an hour or three...   I think Spike will be salvageable if I redraw his eyes lower. I like the size and shape of him otherwise.

I don't know if my outlook is good because my ponies are kinda OK looking, not as bad looking as I'd feared, or because my hubby is playing Burnout Paradise so I get to listen to Paradise City for a while.

I just gave 6 of the 8 G1s I got for Christmas a spa day.  My Mom walked into the kitchen and said "It looks like a pony bomb went off!"  Hahaha they were all in plastic cups tail down so any water that got in them while I was washing them could drain.  We have a really small galley kitchen, so they took up a lot of counter space!  lol

I do quite a bit of buying on eBay and it sorely displeases me when people are not as... consumer friendly... as I've come to expect. I don't mind paying a little more for peace of mind so that my ponies arrive to me in the shape that they were shown in. But, don't price gouge the shipping and give me some roundabout just so you can make more money off of me when I ask for combined shipping. I'm dinging a star if it's not in the Post tomorrow and will think about more if it's not here Jan 2. With what I paid in shipping that's 2-3 day USPS. And it had best come in two packages.

I don't even feel able to enjoy the fact that I'm getting a whole herd of G1 ponies in decent shape, I'm so annoyed!

The mail has been really slow. It took a package of mine over a week to get where it was supposed to go and it was mailed 2 day Priority. It does take sellers a while to ship sometimes. I haven't bought any ponies lately but I might be making a pony related purchase soon.

Only a few more ponies to find. Watching my child play with her new EQ RD and work out gifts and ownership out loud is joyful but I'm glad it's my bedtime now.
