G5 ponies are ugly. They looked all right in the movie, but every piece of G5 media since then is just. Not good to look at.

It used to be Oakly, but now I have her! I'd say now it's probably Argentina North Star. I don't have any nirvana ponies and don't really have a huge interest in them in general, but ever since I first saw Argie North Star on the arena years and years ago, I've wanted her.

Yeah she basically looks brown to me (the rust is really bad, I'll probably cut rest of the hair and clean her from the inside since I kind off gave up on her yesterday).
Also this one has basically no glitter for whatever reason.
I'm not sure what the exact science is behind it but the g3 glitter ponies are known to dramatically discolour and the glitter disintigrates, somehow. The Glitterbelle I have is, insofar, still purple and still glittery.

one of mine (that was originally a commission) was found in the wild. I mark mine under the feet, and the new owner messaged me that they'd found it in a thrift store and love it

Posted about this on MLPTP too- I recently got a G3 Twirlerina from a thrift store. I was doing a round of pony cleaning, scrubbed her with soap and washed her hair. When it came to condition and comb her hair out, her tail held up just fine. When I got to her mane though, the dark pink hair in her forelock just came right out. I was horrified. Two swipes and she's suffering from mare pattern baldness. The light pink in her mane - the same hair as her tail - was just fine. The tinsel in the dark pink part of her mane didn't come out, either. Just the hair. I quickly went to grab the other Twirlerina I have, and yes, she too is suffering from exploding dark pink hair. I had never noticed this before. Is this a known issue with this pony?? I know there are some G3 ponies that are known to have poor quality hair that falls apart in time. I guess Twirlerina is one of them. Check on yours!

Why is G3 Minty in this? This comic is such a let-down, I was expecting the Mane 6 to meet their OG inspirations like the first images imply. Instead we have a mishmash of random characters from previous gens? What is going on here.
