Would Folks Come to a Richmond VA Pony Meet? - NEVERMIND :(

Hi all,

I realize this is incredibly vague, but would there be interest in a pony meet in Richmond VA, end of October or early November?  Or is that not enough notice?

I was disappointed that there are no fall pony meets this year in my area (so many people I won't get to see because of it too!).  So my husband suggested that we ask our church if they'd let us use the building to host one.

I don't want to ask unless there's interest, so please let me know what you think.   

The dates are clearly not set in stone either, I just thought it would be fun to do a fall party type thing around Halloween with costume contests and such.

I'd be interested it just depends on which weekend since there are a few weekends in Oct and Nov I do have plans.

Tentative date is Saturday November 15th!  I know it's not a ton of notice, but a small meet is better than no meet!

It sounds like I've definitely got approval to use the church, I'm just waiting for final approval on the date.

Now, I guess my question is, can I maybe get a ride with someone? If things go well, I'll have my license by then, but likely no car yet.

Dagburnit!  There's a marathon that day that's going to have all the roads around the church building blocked, along with half the city.  Something about that shouldn't be legal.  I've got permission to use the building and it's available all day, but there wouldn't be any way for people to park or get their stuff to the building.  Navigating through it, especially if you don't know the area, would be pretty much impossible.
