Japanese kanji don't work exactly the same as what you'd call words in English which is why it's tricky to get exactly what you want by just using google to translate
but from what I know of Japanese I'd say that HorsingAround gave you best examples
Although, I checked out google translate just now and it seems to be doing a pretty decent job ^^
Oh, btw, what I found the most fun was when my japanese friends made my name into kanji! Here, also it's good to understand how kanji work, but I'll give you an example with my name: Jovana (in japanese pronounced as Yobana). So what they did was, they took a kanji that has a reading of Yo, which was the sign for "world" (sekai) and for "bana" they used the kanji for flower (hana).
So maybe you could ask someone who is really good in japanese (like HorsingAround) to try to break down that person's name and find some pretty kanji to represent it? just an idea, as I absolutely loved mine!
