G4 Official Artwork - Nightmare Fuel?

A lot of the official artwork for G4 kind of terrifies me. There are nitpicky little things like the strange, almost backward angle of Rainbow Dash's face in this image, or Rarity's not-quite-there eyes and slightly-too-pointy nose...

... And then there's this Scootaloo. Hasbro's brand and representation standards for the My Little Pony franchise seem a little lax. The whole thing is very curious to me!

Also it bugs me how they stick that Rainbow Dash on every possible thing. It just seems lazy!

I don't see Nightmare Fuel material, but I do think that Scootaloo looks a little too serious and Rainbow Dash looks anatomically incorrect somehow.  Would it kill them to use vectors from the show, or maybe pay the artists a bit more to make better art for the stuff on the shelves?

The Scootaloo still scares me, but I think it's because I'm so used to seeing the characters on the show. Art like this is almost like "Uncanny Valley" territory for me!

I hate that rearing Fluttershy one they put on lots of stuff where she's sometimes missing her wings, but always missing one of the irises of her eye. That really bugs me and most people I think don't notice it, either. There's also one of AJ where her eyes look kind of derped. Like one eye is looking to the side, where another is looking down. Twilight tends to look odd in some of her artwork, too. It makes me wonder why they don't hire more professional artists to make these, preferably someone who can properly draw them and would notice things wrong with them like we do.
