Not sure if this is a brag or a customization or both!
So I went to walmart to buy some stuff to replace a busted water line yesterday adn checked the toy section (our closest walmart is 22 miles away so I always try to do everything I can while there) and Found Skywishes on the shelf! I was so shocked.
After opening her up I decided to take some acetone to her and wash her hair.
Here are the results

I know alot of people are against customizing altering but ehhh I like her better this way so :x

I'll be keeping the extra markings on mine... doing that would just make her look nearly identical to my original Skywishes. >.<

Oh she looks LOVELY! So simple... I love it! Too bad Hasbro cant learn from you! LOL Hasbro has definelty gone overboard with the designs this year xD

You know, I forgot how different international Skywishes looks from this one. Definitely a "softer" look with the eyes, softer colors and lack of bold outlines. Fewer stripes in the mane, too.

She definitely looks much better without the strange eye kite!
Although come to think of it, I don't think I would mind leaving the spiral part under her eye. That part isn't too bad.

(Also wow, I never realized the original Skywishes had different eyes! :O Thanks for posting that comparison pic, Reanna!!)

Her face looks way better without the kite coming out of it. I might have to do that. How did you protect her eye?

She looks MUCH better with a nice hair-do and that horrible eye-paint off. I don't know that I need her since I have the other Skywishes, but if I get her, I will definitely be removing that eye paint!
Also- I don't think anyone objects to customizing G4s. There is definitely no shortage of them!

Me personally, I used clear tape :) I just cut alittle bit out the shape of Bon Bon's eye and stuck it over her eye ^_^ worked like a charm :D

She looks lovely both ways! It makes me want to get two of her when I find her so I can have one each way :)

I just used a qtip and was super super careful, looking back I should have taped it to avoid any smearing, I guess I just got lucky!

She looks really good without the eye kite thing. I would probably keep the kites on the leg but remove the eye kite.

So after seeing how it's possible to make these look sweet and simple instead of crazy and busy, I definitely bought both Skywishes and Sunset Shimmer at Walmart today (along with a bottle of acetone nail polish remover). :happy:
Although Skywishes turned out to have some hair stuck inside her neck "joint" lol...can you pop the G4 heads off the same as a G1, or are they attached somewhat differently? I don't want to try it without knowing, in case I try to do it in a way that messes her up beyond repair. :drunk:

If you wanna pop off their head, then I highly suggest you soak em in very hot water to soften the plastic. Once you have a hot (don't worry..its not scalding hot XD ) then all you gotta do is ease the head off the neck plug c:
