What generations do you collect?

What generations does everypony collect?

I collect G1, G2, G3 and G4, so all except for those wretched big heads who I try to forget existed. Infact the other day I cut the head off a Starsong I've had and nailed it to my ponyshelf saying "Big Heads ye be warned". Eventually I customized it into my spider pony's former mate's head. She's half black widow, afterall.

I've noticed that G2 seems to get the least love, followed by G3.5, followed by G3, and then G1 and G4 people adore, but that's jus my opinion on things. I actually really like G2s! But they're hard to find for me, I only have an Ivy keychain that I cut the ring off so she's just a pony, and an old McDonald's SunSparkle. The fact that most of them were UK releases makes them expensive and hard to get your hooves on.

What generations do you collect? All? Just one? Just a few and others not at all?

I absolutely adore G2's! They're my second fave gen! I collect G1, G2 and G4. I'm very specific about what I collect with G4 (new characters whose color schemes I like, Rarity and Cadance), but the others are fair game.

G1, 2 and 3.  The only G4 we have are the fun blind bags, Zecora and a lovely custom Minty.

  that sad about G3.5, how disturbing,  i love them all, it took me years to like g2 and now i love them, i took me years to like g3 now i have 2 dozen of them. i love new born cuties too but my big fave are vintage then the new-bees

I collect G1 , G3 and G4. I really don't like G2s but I like their color schemes thats about it. I don't really like G 3.5s but I do have 1 G2 and 1 G 3.5 in my herd. Im ok with that.

i mostly collect G3 and Ponyvilles.

I collect all, but my main focus is G1, G3 and G4. I do like G2s quite a bit, but I really don't see them when I'm out pony hunting. All the years I have been a collector I've only found one. I don't purchase online very often, and when I do I focus on G1s. So while I do like G2s, I don't have as many in my collection as I should!

I collect G1 and G4s but I also have some G3s and G2s.  They're all too cute to resist.

I never would have thought in my craziest dreams that I'd ever be collecting ponies full stop up until October 2011! And even only recently is it that I've found myself with an increasing interest in anything other than G4. I only collect G4 at the moment, but that's not to say I wouldn't love some of the older relevant G1 ponies like Firefly and Twilight, given the chance. The only thing I simply cannot stand are those dreadful G3.5s! But who knows, I might end up liking them too, eventually. Maybe. Probably not.

I have a lot of G1, most from many years ago. I suppose I can say I still collect them, since I've bought some recently. I have a few G2 that I bought new when I was a kid, I'm not fond of them though. I purchased a few G3 recently. I have not gotten into G4 at all...

I'm mostly a G1 and G4 kind of guy. I actively seek G1 ponies online all the time. Occasionally I buy a G4 if she's at the right price, and I'll usually pick one up if there's a new one at the store.
I have a handful of G3s, but don't really actively seek them out. A lot of the designs and colours just don't appeal to me.
I like G2s, but the ones I'm most interested in seem to only pop up with a high price tag on them, so I haven't bought a single one yet.
I'm not a big fan of G3.5, but there are a few that I've seen that I think are cute and I wouldn't mind having. I own a single 3.5 Pinkie Pie with a mohawk that I picked up at a thrift store. She's... odd, but sort of charming.

I collect mostly G1, G3 and G4. I would like to collect G2s, but I only like the babies and since those are harder for me to find and a bit more expensive when I do find them I have yet to actually add any to my collection since there's only a few that really jump at me to desperately want. For the G3.5's, I have a couple but I don't actively collect them, BUT I would love to get my hands on a few more of those tiny Ponyville ponies (about the size of G4 Blind Bag ponies). I think those are just the cutest things and would certainly not mind having more <3

Love G1s, G2s I personally really love and have even found a couple at thrift stores with both eye gems in place and one in a box 

G3s I think are really pretty too and have found more of this gen than any other.

G3.5s I try to avoid purchasing but I adore the moms.

G4 is too cute! I like how small they are but the line isn't as exciting as it was. I need to save up money for customs that I've been drooling over in the forum!

I started collecting only g1 and when the g3 came out i found myself buying them all the time and I like a lot of the g4 but only have around fifteen. I even have around five of the g3.5 My main love is g1 and these are the ones that I will buy online etc. If I see a g3 that i like at athrift store I will buy it but I don't think I would buy g3 or g4 online.
