Did Europe get more G2's then USA?

Were there more Europe exclusive G2 ponies than ponies that came to the US.. For some reason on Strawberry Reef there's a bunch of ponies listed as 'Europe' and it's really confusing me..

Any idea what were exclusives and what weren't?

By far Europe got more G2s than the USA did. I don't remember the cut-off year, but the US really didn't get very many overall.

Oh gosh yes - Europe got a much longer and more in depth G2 line than the US.

If I remember my years - Gen 2 ran for a year and a half or 2 years in the US from 97 to 99 and then nothing. After which the line continued in Europe until 02 - therefore any pony released from late 99 through to 02 was not available in US stores.

The g2's did not do well in the US, but were wildly popular in europe!

And they were also cut out in Mexico and it made me mad.

Even while here we get a few 'Europe Exclusives" (Hip Holly is the only one I remember).

I knew there had to be more! I remember playing with G2's as a kid but some of the ones I have I don't EVER remember seeing! Thanks for the links, I'll have a look!

All this talk is making me want to get more G2s. I have a few Europe Exclusives in my small collection. I only have about one little cubby in my book case of G2's but I have this craving for more!

Did America not get any of the Princess Ponies? Because I think any little girl would remember them!

@karrie91 - no the Princesses first came out in the 99/00 line which just after the US stopped G2s

It feels so weird we had more. I remember that the few last lines of G2's didint stay in the shops for too long.. suddenly they were gone.

Europe got some seriously cute g2's too! We got the same few over and over again...kinda like the bore 7 ad the end of the g3 line.

I don't think the US got any of the G2 babies either! They're sooo cute <3
