Yep, it is officially Lemony Gem as I got the favorites set last night and it indeed says that. SUPER funny! She is pretty though!

Good to know!  Now I can remove that silly question mark and give her a permanent name on the site.  Do you happen to have a picture of the back of the box?

I like "Lemony Gem" a lot better than "Lemon Tart". That's just too much like Strawberry Shortcake.  Hasbro (American Greetings) even changed the SSC character name of "Raspberry Tart" or "Raspberry Torte" because of the other meaning of "tart" so I can't see them naming a pony that!

Oliff: As a precautionary measure we changed it to Torte because [as the saying goes], "the squeaky wheel gets a lot of attention." And I don't know if it's because I cook a lot, but I feel like people are referring to tarts as tortes (the French word for tart) more often.

So we probably won't see any ponies or dolls named "Tart" in the future.

This is kind of funny. When I got the Lemon Hearts blind bag figure, I couldn't remember her name so I just called her Lemon Head. Pretty dang close. Just because it's funny, I'll rename Lemon Head back to Lemon Hearts and give the brushable the old name... lol

There was a G3 Kiwi Tart, yes She was out in 2005 - maybe Hasbro got more sensitive or cautious in 5 years

Maybe the fan base expanded and so they worry more about public reaction.  Plus more new adult fans are involved and maybe they think more of the teens and such have dirty minds?

 so i was watching FiM from the beginning yesterday with the kids and there is lemon hearts walking around in so many scenes and im shaking my head to the fan favorites lemony gem thinking she's not in the show, i love the brushable don't get me wrong but its not a fan fav just a hasbro mesh mash character
